Important Safety Precautions
ATTENTION:
- Read these instructions carefully before using the appliance and keep them for future reference.
- This appliance can be used by children aged 8 and above, and persons with reduced physical, sensory, or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, provided they have received appropriate supervision or instruction on the safe use of the appliance and understand the inherent dangers.
- Keep plastic bags and packaging elements out of the reach of children, as they can be potential sources of danger.
- Do not connect the appliance to the mains without ensuring that the voltage indicated on the rating plate matches your household voltage.
- Ensure the plug has an adequate earth connection.
- Avoid sudden temperature contrasts, which can cause the recipient to crack, to prolong its useful life.
- Always use on a stable surface.
- Do not use if there are visible signs of damage.
- Ensure the cable does not touch hot parts.
- Do not leave the appliance unattended during operation.
- PRECAUTION: Hot surface. Supervise children to ensure they do not play with the appliance. Keep the appliance out of their reach.
- VERY IMPORTANT: Never immerse the main body in water or other liquids.
- Do not use near heat sources.
- Do not use the recipient in a microwave.
- Do not touch hot surfaces. Always use the handles for manipulation.
- To avoid the risk of electric shock, use only the supplied containers.
- Do not move the appliance during use.
- Do not use outdoors.
- Unplug from the mains when not in use.
- This appliance is designed for domestic use only.
- Cleaning and maintenance by users should not be performed by children unless they are over 8 years old and under supervision.
- If the power cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its after-sales service, or similarly qualified personnel to avoid danger.
Instructions for Use
Before first use, wash the recipient and the lid.
- Connect the appliance to the mains and select the desired cooking type using the program selector (4):
- OFF
- Low temperature (approx. 8 hours cooking time)
- High temperature (approx. 4 hours cooking time)
- Warming
- When the appliance is in operation, the pilot light (5) will illuminate.
- The lid must be in place during cooking to maintain the ideal temperature.
- The appliance will not switch off automatically. To turn it off, place the program selector (4) in the OFF position, the pilot light (5) will go out, and then unplug the appliance from the mains.
Maintenance and Cleaning
- Before cleaning, ensure the appliance is unplugged from the mains and wait for the heating element and recipient to cool down.
- Clean accessories with soap and water, then rinse thoroughly.
- Use a slightly damp cloth to clean the main body.
- Do not use chemical or abrasive products, metal scouring pads, etc., which may damage the surfaces of the appliance.
Environmental Protection
- As a consumer, when you wish to dispose of the appliance, deposit it for proper treatment at a waste collection center or a designated container.
- Never throw it in the trash. In this way, you will contribute to the care and improvement of the environment.
Warranty Conditions
Warranty for the first 20 days
- This warranty covers any functional defect during the first 20 calendar days. In case of a defect, the faulty part will be replaced, or the product will be exchanged at the user's home at no cost.
- To apply this warranty, the purchase ticket/invoice (original or photocopy) must be included in the product box. It will be sent according to the conditions agreed with our Plus service. Phone: 900 123 018.
- The 20-day Plus Warranty is only applicable to mainland Spain and the Balearic Islands.
European Warranty (2 Years)
- If you detect any problem with the product, contact 663 782 199 for instructions on how to proceed.
- This warranty covers any functional defect for two years at no cost to the owner.
- To use this warranty, you must present the purchase ticket or invoice showing the model and date of purchase. Jata offers the possibility to register your purchase conveniently on our website. This way, your ticket will be registered in our system for your peace of mind.
- For products obtained through promotions or online purchases, ensure you have a document indicating the model, delivery date, and supplier identification. This document will be used to register on our website.
- Additionally, in other countries, the warranty holder will enjoy all rights granted by current legislation.
Additional Warranty (+1 Year)
- Jata extends the warranty of your product from 2 to 3 years at no additional cost to the owner.
- For this warranty extension to be valid, you must register on our website within one month of purchase.
Warranty Exclusions
- The warranty does not cover breakage or damage caused by falls, loss of accessories or parts, incorrect installation, total or partial manipulation of the product by personnel other than JATA Technical Services, or force majeure events beyond JATA's control (geological phenomena, disturbances, non-domestic use, etc.).
- The warranty does not apply to components and accessories subject to wear and tear, nor to perishable items such as plastic compounds, rubber, glass, lamps, paper, filters, enamels, paints, or coatings deteriorated by improper use or reaction to agents like heat, water, or external chemical products.
- Malfunctions in plugs, cables, or connectors due to misuse or sulfation of battery contacts due to their deterioration are not covered by the warranty.
- Adjustments and cleaning operations detailed in the instruction manuals, necessary for the proper functioning of the product, are also excluded from the warranty.
