Warranty Information
The ICBBI Series does not carry a factory warranty. Product Distributors or Appliance Dealers may offer their own warranties. The model and serial number are important for warranty purposes.
Serial Tag Location Notes:
- ALL-REFRIGERATOR and ALL-FREEZER models: Located by the top door hinge in the refrigeration compartment.
- SIDE-BY-SIDE models: Located by the top door hinge in the freezer compartment.
- OVER / UNDER models: Located by the top door hinge in the refrigerator compartment.
A diagram illustrating the Serial Tag Layout is provided, showing fields for Model Number, Serial Number, Manufacture Date, Voltage, Frequency, Total Amps, and Refrigerant Type (e.g., R134a).
Model Descriptions
The model number code for the Built-in Series is explained in a diagram. Functional parts are common across different model configurations. This manual primarily uses basic model numbers (digits up to the letter after the first forward slash).
The model number structure is explained, including:
- Model Line and Domestic/International Identifier: ICB = CB Approved International Model Line, BI = Built-in Model Line.
- Nominal Cabinet Width: Typically 30", 36", 42", and 48".
- Additional Model Type Information: G = Glass Refrigerator Door, A = High Altitude Glass Refrigerator Door, D = Ice & Water Dispenser.
- Trim Style: F = Framed, O = Overlay, S = Stainless Steel.
- Door Swing: RH = Hinge on Right Side, LH = Hinge on Left Side (only if door swing is sensitive).
- Stainless Steel Handle Style: TH = Tubular Handle, PH = Pro Style Handle, CH = Curved Handle (only if trim style is Stainless Steel).
