Installation & Usage Precautions:
- Installation of DC power source in a boat must be handled by qualified electricians.
- Always connect power to a suitable voltage socket.
- Do not use electrical devices inside the refrigerator.
- Allow the refrigerator to stand upright for at least six hours after unpacking before powering it on.
- Keep the refrigerator horizontal while running. Tilt angle must be less than 5° for long time running and less than 45° for short running.
- Ensure good ventilation: maintain space around the refrigerator (200mm back space, 100mm side space recommended).
- Avoid heat sources and direct sunlight; place in a well-ventilated area.
- Keep the refrigerator stable on the floor or in the car.
- If water is inside, do not turn upside down to pour; dry with a cloth. Do not soak the tank in water.
- Keep air inlet/outlet vents and gaps clear of metal objects like hairpins or wires.
- Connect only to DC 12V/24V or AC 100V-240V power sources.
- Do not soak the refrigerator in water or wash it with water.
- Repairs should only be performed by authorized personnel. Contact the company for malfunctions.
- Always unplug the refrigerator before cleaning to avoid electric shock.
- Keep away from watery places or high humidity to prevent leakage or shock.
Operating Description
Power Supply:
- DC 12V/24V or AC 100V~240V (with adapter).
- DC power supply: Voltage must be 12V if there is a built-in battery inside the refrigerator.
Operation Method:
- Power On/Off: Press the power button ? to switch ON. Long press the power button for three seconds to switch OFF.
- Temperature Setting: Press '+' or '-' buttons to adjust the temperature. The setting temperature of the left zone must not be lower than that of the right zone.
- Mode Selection: Press the settings button ⚙️ to choose between ECO (Energy-saving) or MAX (Fast cooling). Factory setting is MAX.
- Battery Protection: Long press the settings button ⚙️ for three seconds. When 'H' flashes, select battery protection modes H (High), M (Middle), or L (Low) by pressing the settings button again. Factory setting is H.
- APP Connection: Press the settings button ⚙️ after 'AP' is displayed on the panel for Bluetooth connection.
- Zone Icons: Icons under the screen indicate the Left Zone ◀️ and Right Zone ▶️.
- Zone Switching: Press upper '+' and '-' buttons simultaneously for three seconds to switch the left zone ON/OFF.
- Merged Zones: After removing the divider, the two zones are merged. Temperature control is done via the upper screen only.
- Temperature Unit Conversion: Turn off the fridge, then long press the SET button ⚙️ until 'E1' is displayed. Press SET again until 'E5' is displayed. Press '+' or '-' to select Celsius (°C) or Fahrenheit (°F).
APP Connection
Download the "QZsmart" app from the App Store or Google Play by scanning the QR code ? or searching. The app can connect via WiFi or Bluetooth.
WIFI MODEL: Preparation Before Use:
- Ensure your car fridge is on and your smartphone is connected to a 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi network. (Note: Only 2.4GHz Wi-Fi is supported, not 5GHz).
- Ensure the mobile phone's Bluetooth function is enabled; otherwise, the device cannot be automatically searched.
- Download and install the QZsmart app. Authorize the app to access network and location services.
- For first-time use, click "Sign up" to register. If you have an account, click "Log in".
- For better Wi-Fi connection, reset the product's Wi-Fi. Turn off the refrigerator and simultaneously long press '+' and '-' on the upper screen for 3 seconds until you hear a beep.
Add Device:
- From the Home Page, press "Add Device" or the '+' icon in the top right corner. (If a device is already added, "Add Device" may not appear).
- Connecting (Auto-connect): The app automatically searches when Wi-Fi and Bluetooth are on. Add the product directly from the search results.
- Press "Add Device" or '+'.
- When the device is found, press "Add". Bluetooth must be enabled.
- Select your Wi-Fi network (ensure it's 2.4G).
- Enter your router password.
- Wait for connection and click "NEXT".
- Once added, you can rename and locate the device via the menu.
- Click "Done" when finished.
- Manual Connection: Select your model from the device menu.
- Press "Add Device" or '+'.
- Select the product type and click the corresponding product diagram.
- After the product is shut down, press "Next".
- Long press '+' and '-' on the upper screen for 3 seconds until a beep, then press "Next".
- Select your Wi-Fi network (ensure it's 2.4G).
- Enter your router password.
- Click "Confirm". The screen will prompt to connect your mobile phone to the device's hotspot.
- Click "Go to connect." This will open your phone's settings or Wi-Fi list.
- Select "SmartLife-XXXX".
- Navigate back to the QZsmart App.
- Click "Next." Your smartphone will automatically connect.
- Once added, use the menu to change the device name and location.
- Press "Done" when finished.
Follow the on-screen prompts in the app for detailed operation reminders.
Connection may take up to 60 seconds.
Your mobile device must be connected to a 2.4GHz Wi-Fi network during setup.
BLUETOOTH MODEL:
Bluetooth function can be used in non-Wi-Fi environments.
Bluetooth Preparation Before Use:
Ensure successful Wi-Fi connection for the first time. If the Wi-Fi connection is disconnected, wait 2-3 minutes before using Bluetooth control.
Using the My App:
The main interface allows control of the two compartments' temperatures. You can also set the LOCK function and refrigerator switch. Click "more features" to set temperature units, cooling mode, battery protection mode, and refrigerator compartment settings.
How to Unbind
A car refrigerator can only be connected to one mobile phone.
First method: Disconnect by turning off the refrigerator switch and simultaneously long pressing '+' and '-' on the upper screen for 3 seconds until a beep.
Second method: Open the app, go to the device page, click the ⚙️ in the upper right corner, and then click "Remove Device" at the bottom.
Cautions:
- There may be a 1-3 minute delay in app operation. Please be patient.
- The app language automatically switches with the mobile system language.
- The control panel can be locked/unlocked via the app's lock icon. The refrigerator's operation panel does not have this function.
Components Detail
Diagram Description: The refrigerator features a door handle, sealing ring, left zone, right zone, detachable middle plate, USB port, radiator vent, and power cable connecting port. Instruction When Refrigerator Used in Car:
The refrigerator has a three-level battery protection function to ensure normal operation and protect the vehicle's battery. To set this, long press the SET button ⚙️ for 3 seconds when powered on; the display screen will flash 'H'. Select low voltage protection L (low), M (medium), or H (high) by pressing the SET button. The factory default is H (high) protection.
Setting Guidance:
- Set to H when connected to car power.
- Set to M or L when connected to a portable battery or other backup battery.
- If a voltage protection code 'F1' appears on the panel, adjust the battery gear from H to M or M to L depending on the vehicle's output voltage.
- Set to H if the refrigerator needs to continue working after the car engine is turned off, to prevent excessive car battery drain and ensure the vehicle can be restarted.
Cleaning and Maintenance
Cleaning:
- Unplug the fridge first to avoid electric shock.
- Do not soak the fridge in water or wash it directly with water.
- Remove the cover and drain any water from the hole.
- Use a damp cloth to clean the fridge and then dry it.
If Not Using for a Long Time:
- Turn off the power and remove the plug.
- Remove all stored items.
- Absorb any remaining water with a dry cloth.
- Store the fridge in a cool and dry place.
