APP Connection

Download the "QZsmart" app from the App Store or Google Play by scanning the QR code ? or searching. The app can connect via WiFi or Bluetooth.

WIFI MODEL: Preparation Before Use:

  1. Ensure your car fridge is on and your smartphone is connected to a 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi network. (Note: Only 2.4GHz Wi-Fi is supported, not 5GHz).
  2. Ensure the mobile phone's Bluetooth function is enabled; otherwise, the device cannot be automatically searched.
  3. Download and install the QZsmart app. Authorize the app to access network and location services.
  4. For first-time use, click "Sign up" to register. If you have an account, click "Log in".
  5. For better Wi-Fi connection, reset the product's Wi-Fi. Turn off the refrigerator and simultaneously long press '+' and '-' on the upper screen for 3 seconds until you hear a beep.

Add Device:

  1. From the Home Page, press "Add Device" or the '+' icon in the top right corner. (If a device is already added, "Add Device" may not appear).
  2. Connecting (Auto-connect): The app automatically searches when Wi-Fi and Bluetooth are on. Add the product directly from the search results.
    1. Press "Add Device" or '+'.
    2. When the device is found, press "Add". Bluetooth must be enabled.
    3. Select your Wi-Fi network (ensure it's 2.4G).
    4. Enter your router password.
    5. Wait for connection and click "NEXT".
    6. Once added, you can rename and locate the device via the menu.
    7. Click "Done" when finished.
  3. Manual Connection: Select your model from the device menu.
    1. Press "Add Device" or '+'.
    2. Select the product type and click the corresponding product diagram.
    3. After the product is shut down, press "Next".
    4. Long press '+' and '-' on the upper screen for 3 seconds until a beep, then press "Next".
    5. Select your Wi-Fi network (ensure it's 2.4G).
    6. Enter your router password.
    7. Click "Confirm". The screen will prompt to connect your mobile phone to the device's hotspot.
    8. Click "Go to connect." This will open your phone's settings or Wi-Fi list.
    9. Select "SmartLife-XXXX".
    10. Navigate back to the QZsmart App.
    11. Click "Next." Your smartphone will automatically connect.
    12. Once added, use the menu to change the device name and location.
    13. Press "Done" when finished.

Follow the on-screen prompts in the app for detailed operation reminders.

Connection may take up to 60 seconds.

Your mobile device must be connected to a 2.4GHz Wi-Fi network during setup.

BLUETOOTH MODEL:

Bluetooth function can be used in non-Wi-Fi environments.

Bluetooth Preparation Before Use:

Ensure successful Wi-Fi connection for the first time. If the Wi-Fi connection is disconnected, wait 2-3 minutes before using Bluetooth control.

Using the My App:

The main interface allows control of the two compartments' temperatures. You can also set the LOCK function and refrigerator switch. Click "more features" to set temperature units, cooling mode, battery protection mode, and refrigerator compartment settings.

How to Unbind

A car refrigerator can only be connected to one mobile phone.

First method: Disconnect by turning off the refrigerator switch and simultaneously long pressing '+' and '-' on the upper screen for 3 seconds until a beep.

Second method: Open the app, go to the device page, click the ⚙️ in the upper right corner, and then click "Remove Device" at the bottom.

Instruction When Refrigerator Used in Car:

The refrigerator has a three-level battery protection function to ensure normal operation and protect the vehicle's battery. To set this, long press the SET button ⚙️ for 3 seconds when powered on; the display screen will flash 'H'. Select low voltage protection L (low), M (medium), or H (high) by pressing the SET button. The factory default is H (high) protection.

Cleaning and Maintenance

Cleaning:

  1. Unplug the fridge first to avoid electric shock.
  2. Do not soak the fridge in water or wash it directly with water.
  3. Remove the cover and drain any water from the hole.
  4. Use a damp cloth to clean the fridge and then dry it.

If Not Using for a Long Time:

  1. Turn off the power and remove the plug.
  2. Remove all stored items.
  3. Absorb any remaining water with a dry cloth.
  4. Store the fridge in a cool and dry place.

Troubleshooting

PROBLEM POSSIBLE CAUSE SUGGESTED SOLUTIONS
The refrigerator is not working The power is cut off
  • Check if power supply is malfunctioned.
  • Check if the plug and socket are connected well.
  • Check if the fuse has been burnt or not.
  • Check if the switch is on or not.
Food is frozen The setting temperature is too low Increase the setting temperature.
Water flowing sound is inside the refrigerator It is a normal phenomenon. It is the flowing sound of refrigerant, which is normal.
There are water drops around the refrigerator casing or door gap It is a normal phenomenon. When moisture in the air meets the lower temperature refrigerator casing, it will naturally become liquefied and condensed to be water drops. This is a normal phenomenon.
The compressor is slightly noisy when starting It is a normal phenomenon. The noise will be less after the compressor works stably.
Bluetooth connection unavailable The connection is not correct.
  1. When using Bluetooth mode for the first time, it can only be used after the 2.4G Wi-Fi network is connected successfully.
  2. After the Wi-Fi connection is disconnected, wait about 2-3 minutes before you can directly use the Bluetooth control.
The refrigerator kept working after reaching the set temperature It is a normal phenomenon. In order to keep the temperature at the set temperature, the compressor will operate at low power.
Code F1 displayed This is protection mode of low car voltage Set the battery protection button from H to M or from M to L.
Code F2 displayed This is the protection mode of overloaded fan Turn the refrigerator off and restart it after 30 mins.
Code F3 displayed This is the protection mode of frequent working compressor. Turn the refrigerator off and restart it after 30 mins.
Code F4 displayed It means compressor is overloaded or working at a low speed. Turn the refrigerator off and restart it after 30 mins.
Code F5 displayed This is the protection code of overheated compressor module. Move the refrigerator to a ventilated area, turn it off and restart it after 30 mins.
Code F6 displayed No parameter can be detected by the controller. Please restart it. If the code shows again, please contact with after-sale workers.
Code F7 or F8 displayed This is the erroneous protection code of temperature sensor. Please check the sensor terminal.
