4. Installation

Step 1: Unpacking and Inspection

Ensure that the fridge is not damaged when opening the package after receiving the product. Any transportation damage could be reported to the place of purchase. Handle the product with the utmost care and attention.

Step 2: Cabinet Preparation

Prepare the cabinet. Leave space around the refrigerator to keep good ventilation (at least 50mm at the back and top, and 20mm at the sides). Always keep the fridge on a horizontal surface and away from heat sources.

Step 3: Power Connection

Connect the refrigerator to the vehicle 12V/24V DC system directly. Ensure the minimal cable cross-section is adequate based on the overall length of wire between the refrigerator and the battery. Connect the red cable to the positive terminal of the battery and the black cable to the negative terminal of the battery.

Wire Gauge Requirements for DC Power Connection
Wire Length to RefrigeratorWire Gauge
Maximum 6m14AWG
Maximum 11m12AWG
Maximum 17m10AWG

It is highly recommended that the installation is carried out by a qualified person. Ensure enough free wire is kept for moving the fridge into the cabinet.

Step 4: Placing the Fridge

Push the fridge into the cabinet carefully to avoid scratching the floor, and the power cable should be kept loose.

Step 5: Fixing the Refrigerator

There are three methods to fix the refrigerator:

Method 1: Mount to Cabinet Wall

Use the built-in screw holders (labeled ①, ②, ③, ④ in diagrams) on the side wall of the refrigerator. Drill holes through the screw holders into the side metal panel with screws (M5, 15mm minimal) and fix it on the wall. Use the screw cover to cover the hole. (Note: If the refrigerator needs to be drilled through, this should be confirmed before leaving the factory. Screws are not included.)

Diagram Description: Illustrates pre-installation dimensions (Inner Length: 420mm, Inner Height: 582mm, Inner Width: 529mm) and installation view showing screw holders, screws, and screw covers for mounting to a cabinet wall.

Method 2: Optional Standard Frame

Use an optional installation frame (standard frame) for a secure fit and a smart finish. This involves unscrewing the refrigerator's own fixings, placing the frame behind the door, fixing the frame to the refrigerator with screws, and then pushing the refrigerator into the cabinet. Finally, fix the refrigerator to the cabinet through the frame.

Diagram Description: Shows the process of attaching a standard frame to the refrigerator and then mounting it into a cabinet. Includes dimensions for the frame and cabinet space.

Method 3: Optional Flush-Mount Frame

Use an optional flush-mount frame for a seamless integration. The process is similar to the standard frame: unscrew refrigerator fixings, attach the frame flush with the door, fix the frame to the refrigerator with screws, push the refrigerator into the cabinet, and finally fix it through the frame.

Diagram Description: Illustrates the attachment of a flush-mount frame to the refrigerator and its subsequent installation into a cabinet. Includes dimensions.

Step 6: Final Verification

Once the installation is finished, check the continuity of the earth circuit and carry out all electrical safety testing provided for by current regulations. Protect and fix the cables to prevent accidental pulling, disconnection, contact with hot parts (above 50°C), or sharp parts.

5. Combining Fridge/Freezer Compartments

To combine the compartments, open the lid and pull out the divider horizontally.

Diagram Description: Shows the refrigerator with the lid open and the internal divider pulled out horizontally.

6. Reverse Door Open Direction

The door is reversible and can be opened from left to right or from right to left.

Diagram Description: Two illustrations showing the refrigerator door opening in opposite directions: one from right to left, and the other from left to right.

7. Function and Operation

The control panel allows for temperature management and operation settings.

Control Panel Layout: Features a display for temperature (e.g., "888-888"), buttons for temperature control ([Plus], [Minus]), mode selection ([Freezer], [Refrigerator]), settings ([SET]), and power ([ON/OFF]). A "Night light" indicator is also present.

  • Power Supply: DC 12V/24V or AC 100-240V power (using dedicated adapter).
  • Display Screen Initialization: Upon powering on, the buzzer sounds a long beep, and the display shows for two seconds before entering normal operation.
