Device Care and Use

Do not expose the Amazon Monitron Gateway to extreme temperatures. Store it in a location where temperatures remain within the storage temperature ratings. If too hot or too cold, the device may not function properly until it has reached the applicable temperature ratings.

Use the power adapter and cable correctly and safely. The power adapter is intended for indoor use only. Review its ingress protection rating before use.

Unplug the power adapter during lightning storms or when not in use. To reduce the risk of electrostatic discharge, avoid contact with the device in extremely dry conditions.

Service Your Device

If the device is damaged, discontinue use immediately and contact Amazon Customer Support. Contact details are available at aws.amazon.com/monitron/terms/. Faulty service may void the warranty.

Using the Device Around Other Electronic Devices

The device generates, uses, and can radiate radio frequency (RF) energy. Improper use may cause interference to radio communications and electronic equipment. External RF signals may affect improperly installed or shielded electronic systems, entertainment systems, and personal medical devices. Consult the manufacturer if unsure about shielding.
