Specific Absorption Rate (SAR) Information
THE DEVICE MEETS INTERNATIONAL GUIDELINES FOR EXPOSURE TO RADIO WAVES.
The device is a radio transmitter and receiver designed not to exceed exposure limits for radio waves (radio frequency electromagnetic fields) recommended by international guidelines. These guidelines were developed by the independent scientific organization ICNIRP and include a substantial safety margin. Radio wave exposure guidelines use Specific Absorption Rate (SAR) as a unit of measurement.
SAR tests are conducted using standard operating positions with the device transmitting at its highest certified power level across all tested frequency bands. The highest SAR values under ICNIRP guidelines for your device model are listed below:
Condition | Model | Body-worn (0mm) / Limb (0mm) | Frequency Bands | Maximum SAR (W/kg) |
---|---|---|---|---|
EU/UK 10g SAR Limit (2.0 W/kg) | TB310FU | Body-worn (0mm) | WLAN, Bluetooth | XXX W/kg |
EU/UK 10g SAR Limit (4.0 W/kg) | TB310FU | Limb (0mm) | WLAN, Bluetooth | XXX W/kg |
EU/UK 10g SAR Limit (2.0 W/kg) | TB310XU | Body-worn (0mm) | WLAN, Bluetooth, LTE | XXX W/kg |
EU/UK 10g SAR Limit (4.0 W/kg) | TB310XU | Limb (0mm) | WLAN, Bluetooth, LTE | XXX W/kg |
[info-icon] The above information is for EU countries and UK. Please refer to the actual product for supported frequency bands in other countries.
During use, actual SAR values are typically well below stated values due to system efficiency and automatic power reduction when full power is not needed. Lower power output results in lower SAR values. To further reduce RF exposure, limit usage or use a hands-free kit to keep the device away from the head and body.
