Product Components
The Franklin BT01 speaker features the following components:
- 1. Speaker: The primary audio output.
- 2. LED indicator: Displays charging status and Bluetooth connection.
- 3. Microphone: For hands-free calls.
- 4. Turn on/off button: Controls power and playback functions.
- 5. Hole for cord: For attaching a lanyard or strap.
- 6. Pro USB port: For charging the device.
Charging the Battery
To charge the battery:
- Insert the charging cable into the Micro USB input port (6).
- Connect the USB plug into a 5V USB power terminal.
- The charging LED indicator (2) will turn on.
- The LED indicator will turn off once charging is complete.
Note: Please charge the speaker when the music sound volume decreases and you hear a warning tone.
Bluetooth Pairing and Operation
Powering On: Press and hold the [power button] for 3 seconds. The speaker will provide a voice prompt, and the blue indicator will flash.
Stereo Mode (for two speakers):
- Power on two Franklin BT01 speakers.
- Double press the [power button] on one Franklin BT01 speaker.
- You will hear connected prompts once the speakers are paired successfully.
- After the initial pairing, the Franklin BT01 will automatically connect when both speakers are turned on.
Pairing with a Device:
- Turn on your device and activate its Bluetooth function.
- Search for the Bluetooth pairing name "Franklin BT01" and click to pair.
- The speaker will pair automatically and provide a voice prompt; the blue indicator will light up.
- Once paired, you can press the [power button] to answer a call or take a photo when the camera app is open.
Powering Off: Press and hold the [power button] for 4 seconds. The speaker will provide a voice prompt.
Transferring Between Selfie and Keyboard Modes:
- Double-click the [mode button] to switch between selfie mode and keyboard mode. You will hear a sound indicating the mode change (similar to taking a picture or typing).
- Selfie Mode: A single click takes a photo when the Camera app is open. If the Camera app is closed, continuous clicks will increase the volume.
- Keyboard Mode: A single click plays or pauses music.
Note: The speaker defaults to keyboard mode when powered on.
