Cabin Air Filter Installation Instructions

Location
The Cabin air filter is located behind the glove compartment.
Installation Steps
- Open the glove box.
- Remove the dampener rod by slightly closing the glove box while pulling the arm slightly forward (See Figure 1).
- Press both sides of the glove box to release the stoppers and allow the glove box to hang freely on the hinges (See Figure 1).
- Release the clips and remove the undercover assembly passenger (See Figure 2).
- Remove the clips and remove the cover assembly instrument panel side RH.
- Remove the screws and release the claws, then remove the panel instrument passenger (See Figure 3).
- Release the lock and remove the filter, taking note the air flow arrow indicator on the side of the old filter (See Figure 4).
- Insert the new filter into the assembly, making sure the air flow direction is correct according to the arrow indicator.
- Replace the rest of the glove box assembly by reversing the removal procedure.
