Service/Repair R290
Safety precautions for servicing R290 refrigerant are highlighted, including handling of electrical equipment and brazing procedures.
Brazing on Suction Connectors (Direct Intake)
Maximum temperature for brazing at the socket is 150°C/302°F. Recommended brazing solder is phosphor (LP7) or silver. Refer to Product Bulletin for specific details.
Airflow Requirements
A minimum airflow of 3 m/s is required for both the compressor and electronic units. Airflow for electronics must be directed to the heat sink. Diagrams illustrate correct and incorrect airflow patterns.
