Keyboard Backlit Switch

Press the backlight switch sequentially:

1. First press: Dim brightness
2. Second press: Medium brightness
3. Third press: Brightest
4. Fourth press: Turn off backlight

The keyboard enters deep sleep mode after 30 minutes of inactivity. The backlight turns off automatically. Press any key to wake the keyboard. Note: The backlight needs to be turned on again.

Connectivity

2.4G Connection

1. Turn the power switch to ON.
2. Connect the USB receiver to a USB port on your computer.
3. Press the 2.4G channel switch button. The white indicator light will flash slowly when the 2.4G channel is connected.

Bluetooth Connection

1. Turn the power switch ON.
2. Short press the corresponding Bluetooth channel button. The white indicator light will flash once on the selected channel.
3. Hold and press the Bluetooth channel button for 3-5 seconds until the white indicator light flashes quickly, indicating Bluetooth pairing mode.

Operating System Pairing

Windows 10 OS

1. Click "Bluetooth Devices".
2. Click "Add or Remove Bluetooth Devices".
3. Your computer will search for "ProtoArc EK01". Click "Pair".
4. "ProtoArc EK01" is now connected.

Mac OS

1. Click "System Preferences" on Mac.
2. Click "Bluetooth" in "System Preferences".
3. Your computer will find "ProtoArc EK01". Click "Pair" to complete pairing.

iOS

1. Click "Settings" on the device and turn ON Bluetooth.
2. Complete Bluetooth connection step 1-3 before pairing.
3. Your device will find "ProtoArc EK01". Click "Pair" to complete pairing.

Android OS

1. Click "Settings" on the device and turn on Bluetooth.
2. Complete Bluetooth connection step 1-3 before pairing.
3. Your device will find "ProtoArc EK01". Click "Pair" to complete pairing.

How to Switch Device Channels

After pairing/connection, simply press the channel button (2.4G, BT1, or BT2) to switch to the corresponding device.

Multimedia Function Buttons

The keyboard includes multimedia function buttons that can be used in conjunction with the FN key for alternate commands. The FN function can be toggled ON/OFF by pressing FN + ESC.

Sleep Mode

The keyboard enters sleep mode after 30 minutes of inactivity. To wake it, press any key. The keyboard will be ready within 3 seconds, and the indicator light will turn on again.

Keyboard Charging

The power indicator light is red while charging and turns green when fully charged. A full charging cycle takes approximately 2-3 hours.

Tips

1. Connection Issues: If the keyboard fails to connect, turn the power off and then on again. Retry the Bluetooth connection procedures. Clear the current Bluetooth connection list, remove existing devices, and reconnect.
2. Switching Channels: To switch to an already connected channel, wait for 3 seconds after pressing the switch device button for it to respond.
3. Memory Function: The keyboard remembers the last connected channel. When a channel is successfully connected, it remains the default channel.
4. Low Battery: When the battery is low, the white indicator light on the channel button will flash until the device shuts down. Charge the keyboard promptly for stable connection. Low battery can cause poor connection quality, delays, or other issues.
5. FN Function: The FN function is for alternate commands (F1-F12 & multimedia functions). Press FN+ESC to toggle the FN function ON/OFF.
