Front Panel
The front panel of the AVR-X3200W features various controls and indicators:
- 1 Power operation button: Used to turn the MAIN ZONE power on/off (standby).
- 2 Power indicator: Indicates power status (White: Power on, Off: Normal standby, Red: HDMI Control/Pass Through/Network Control enabled).
- 3 SOURCE SELECT knob: Selects the input source.
- 4 Remote control sensor: Receives signals from the remote control unit.

- 6 MASTER VOLUME knob: Adjusts the volume level.

Display Indicators
The display panel provides information through various indicators:
- Input mode indicators: Light according to the audio input mode settings.
- Surround back indicator: Lights when audio is output from surround back speakers.
- Decoder indicators: Light when Dolby or DTS signals are input or the decoder is running.
- Audyssey® indicator: Lights when Audyssey features (MultEQ® XT, Dynamic EQ, Dynamic Volume) are set up.
- Tuner reception mode indicators: Indicate tuner reception status (TUNED, STEREO).
- Sleep timer indicator: Lights when sleep mode is selected.
- Circle indicator: Displays when playing music from "Online Music" or "iPod/USB".
- Volume indicator: Shows the current volume level.
- MUTE indicator: Blinks when the sound is muted.
- Information display: Shows input source name, sound mode, and other settings.
- Input signal indicators: Light corresponding to the input signal.
- ZONE2 indicator: Lights up when ZONE2 power is on.

Remote Control

Warranty Information
This Denon product comes with a limited warranty honored in the U.S.A.
- Length of Non-Transferable Warranty: 3 years for new units, 1 year for refurbished (B-Stock) units from the date of original consumer purchase from an authorized dealer.
- What is Covered: Defects in material and workmanship during the warranty period.
- What is Not Covered: Products not distributed in the U.S.A. by Denon Electronics (USA), LLC, products not purchased from authorized dealers, products with defaced serial numbers, damage from accident, abuse, misuse, neglect, unauthorized repair, wear items, industrial/commercial use, or damage from shipping.
- What Denon Will Pay For: Denon will repair or replace defective products at no charge for parts or labor.
- Obtaining Warranty Service: Service may be obtained by taking or shipping the unit to an authorized Denon service station. Shipping costs to the service center are the customer's responsibility, while return shipping costs for covered repairs are paid by Denon. A copy of the original sales slip must be attached, along with product details and a description of the problem.
- Warranty Limitations: The warranty is valid in the U.S.A. only. Denon's liability is limited to repair or replacement. Consequential damages are excluded.

Reset Procedure
Important: Back up your settings before resetting the microprocessor, as most settings will revert to factory defaults.
Reset Procedure: With the power off, press and hold the “TUNER PRESET CH +” button, the “TUNER PRESET CH -” button, and the “POWER” button simultaneously on the AVR until “INITIALIZED” appears on the display.
Resetting the microprocessor can resolve issues like freezing or erratic behavior. It erases all previously programmed settings.
Issues Affecting Microprocessor Performance:
- Static electricity jolts
- Current surges
Before Resetting:
- Check all connections.
- Check for setup errors.
- Back up your settings (using the Web (Browser) Control feature is recommended).
If your system was set up by an installer, contact them for assistance with resetting and re-setup, especially for specific EQ calibrations (Audyssey).
Upgrades/Updates
The unit can update its firmware over the internet. When connected to a network, the AVR automatically checks for new updates.
If an update is found, a message will appear with options to update “NOW”, “LATER”, or “IGNORE”. This notification can be disabled in the “Setup” menu.
If an update is interrupted, “Update retry” will appear, and the unit will attempt to continue the update. If it fails repeatedly, one of the following messages may appear: “Connection fail”, “Download fail”, “Updating fail”, “Server is busy”, or “Login failed”.
Checking for Firmware Updates:
- Connect the unit to the internet via Ethernet.
- Press “SETUP”, select “GENERAL”, then “FIRMWARE”, “UPDATE”, and finally “CHECK FOR UPDATE”.
