Setup Process Overview
There are four main steps to the setup process:
- 1 Installing batteries in the remote control unit.
- 2 Connecting the receiver.
- 3 Following the On-Screen Setup Assistant.
- 4 Downloading the Mobile Apps.
Step 1: Installing Batteries in the Remote Control Unit
Open the battery compartment on the remote control. Insert two AAA batteries, ensuring correct polarity (+/-). Close the compartment.

Step 3: Connecting the Receiver to Your TV
Connect the receiver to your TV using an HDMI cable. Connect the cable from the receiver's "HDMI OUT MONITOR (ARC)" port to the TV's "HDMI IN (ARC)" port.

ARC (Audio Return Channel)
If your TV supports ARC, it can send audio back to the AV receiver when using the TV's built-in video sources (TV tuner, streaming services, etc.). ARC requires enabling HDMI CEC on your TV. Refer to your TV's Owner's Manual for instructions on setting up HDMI CEC, as manufacturers may use different names for this function.
4) Turn on the TV
Use your TV remote control to turn on the TV.
