Tips for Streaming Services
Copyright Protection:
Paid video streaming services (Netflix, Prime Video, Hulu) may restrict video output via cable due to copyright protection.
Recommended Solution:
For Prime Video, using a Fire TV Stick is recommended. It requires Wi-Fi and allows enjoyment of Prime Video without direct smartphone connection.
Direct connection to smartphones works for apps like YouTube, FaceTime, Chrome, and Safari.
Dolby Sound Issues:
The projector does not support Dolby sound. If there is no sound for Dolby-enabled content (e.g., Amazon Prime, Netflix), disable "Dolby Digital Plus" or "Dolby 5.1 Digital Plus" in the audio settings.
For Fire TV Stick: Navigate to Settings > Display & Sound > Audio > Surround Sound and select PCM.
For DVD Players: In the player's audio settings, change "digital audio output" to PCM.
