More Tips about Streaming Services
This projector works with YouTube, Chrome, Safari, and FaceTime when connected directly to a smartphone. However, it does not support playing protected video via APP when connected directly to a smartphone (e.g., Netflix, Prime Video, Hulu) due to encryption protocols. You can try playing protected video via a browser when connected to your iPhone.
It works with Netflix, Amazon Prime Video, and other copyright videos when connecting this projector to a laptop, fire TV stick, Roku, or Chrome cast. This is because the HDMI interface encryption protocol includes Netflix's.
Note on Dolby Sound: This projector does not support Dolby sound. If you play Dolby sound videos (e.g., from Amazon Fire Stick, Netflix, Blu-ray movies), there will be no sound. In this case, please turn off the Dolby sound on your source device or apps. The instructions for turning off Dolby sound are typically found under Settings > Display & Sounds > Audio > Dolby Digital Output > turn Dolby Digital (OFF).
