SERVICING OF DOUBLE-INSULATED APPLIANCES
A double-insulated appliance is marked with one or more of the following: The words "DOBLE INSULATION" or "DOUBLE INSULATED" or the double insulation symbol (square within a square) [□].
In a double-insulated appliance, two systems of insulation are provided instead of grounding. Protective Device and Use Requirements
Protective Device
When the tank is filled with water, the float mechanism rises, causing the vacuum power supply to stop. An abnormal noise indicates the motor is running at high speed. If this occurs, cut off the power, pour out the water, restore power, and the vacuum will resume normal operation.
If the vacuum cleaner tips over or shakes, turn off the power, set it upright, and then turn the machine on again.
When the tank is filled with water, the float will rise, cutting off suction. Stop operation immediately.
Diagram Description: A diagram shows the float mechanism inside the vacuum tank. As water level rises, the float lifts and seals the suction inlet, preventing water from entering the motor.
Use Requirements
- ? Do not use the machine in combustible and explosive places to prevent the motor from burning.
- ✔️ Check that the hose inlet is not blocked to prevent temperature rise and motor damage.
- ? Do not collect combustible and explosive objects such as cigarettes, gasoline, etc.
- ? Do not collect sharp objects.
- ? Do not collect objects that can easily attach to the filter, such as lime powder, gypsum, and graphite powder, as these will block ventilation and damage the motor.
- Turn off the machine and remove the plug each time after use or when it is being repaired.
- ? Keep the machine away from strong sunlight and high-temperature places to prevent the body from deforming.
Cleaning and Maintenance
Before cleaning, turn off the power switch and unplug the power cord. Remove the filter and rinse it with water. Tap water is recommended for cleaning dust from the filter. Place the filter in a well-ventilated area to dry naturally before the next use or storage.
Filter Cleaning Tips:
- Shake off excess water droplets and dry it to prevent peculiar smells or blockage.
- Do not dry the filter with a blower or hot air to prevent deformation.
- Do not use detergents, bleaching agents, diluents, or alcohol, as these can cause cracks or color changes.
Diagram Description: The diagram shows a filter being brushed to remove debris, then rinsed under a faucet, and finally placed in sunlight to dry.
