How to Use

Power on

Press the button. The scanner will beep twice and the indicator light will turn on. Power on is successful.

Power off

The system default shutdown time is 20 seconds. After 20 seconds of no operation, the scanner will issue a long beep and automatically shut down. The indicator light will turn off.

Pairing

After plugging in the adapter, scan the one-key pairing barcode within 10 seconds. If not, you need to replug the adapter.

Charging

Connect the charging cable to the bottom of the scanner and then connect the charger to the power socket. Charging time will be 2-3 hours. After fully charged, the scanner can work 4-8 hours continuously.

Reading Angle

  1. Maintain a bevel between the scanner and the barcode to ensure the best reading.
  2. The scanner must aim at the barcode, and the beam must cover the whole barcode. If not, errors may occur.

Scanning Mode Setup

Setup Instruction:

  1. Normal mode: Real-time transmission. Scan the 'Normal Mode' barcode; the scanner will be in real-time transmission.
  2. Inventory mode: The scanner will save the barcodes it reads. When you need to upload the data to the computer, scan the 'Data Upload' barcode.
  3. Scan the 'Total Number of Data' barcode; the computer will show how many barcodes the scanner has read in inventory mode.
  4. Scan the 'Clear Data' barcode to clear all barcodes read in inventory mode.

Available modes: Normal Mode, Inventory Mode, Non-volatile Mode, Upload Data, Total Number of Data, Clear Data (scan with caution).

Reset the Factory Default Settings

To reset factory default settings, scan the following barcodes in turn:

  • Initialization setting
  • Serial mode
  • 57600bps

Wired and Wireless Mode Switchover

If you need to switch to wired mode, please scan the 'USB PC keyboard' barcode.

If you need to switch back to wireless mode, please scan 'Serial mode' and '57600bps' in turn.

Available modes: USB PC keyboard, Serial mode, 57600bps

Sleep Time Setting

Setup Instruction:

  1. Scan the 'Sleep Time' barcode.
  2. Scan the time you want to set.

Sleep Time options: 20 seconds, 30 seconds, 60 seconds, 2 minutes, 5 minutes, 10 minutes, 20 minutes, no sleep.

Successful Reading Beep Sound

The scanner can disable the successful reading prompt sound by scanning the 'Beep Sound / Off' code. It restores the sound by scanning the 'Beep Sound / On' code.

Aiming Setting

The light beam emitted by the scanner helps the user find the best reading distance. Users can choose any of the modes below according to the operating environment:

  • Normal mode: Light beam appears when the button is pressed.
  • Always on: Light beam always appears when the scanner is electrified.
  • No aiming: Light beam will not appear in any situation.

Aiming modes: *Normal mode, Always on, No aiming

LED Light Setting

The LED light provides auxiliary lighting for reading. When the light beam hits the target object, it can improve decoding performance and adaptability in low ambient light conditions. Users can set the scanner to any of the modes below according to the operating environment:

  • Normal mode: LED light is on when the button is pressed and off at other times.
  • Always on: LED light is always on when the scanner is electrified.
  • No LED light: LED light will not be on in any situation.

Suffix Setting

Configure suffix settings for various barcode types.

  • *No Suffix
  • TAB Suffix
  • CR Suffix
  • CRLF Suffix

Scanning Mode Setting

  • *Manual trigger

Reading Interval Time Setting

This function sets the time interval after the scanner successfully reads and outputs data, or times out for one reading. The scanner will enter decoding mode again after this period.

  • No interval
  • 500ms
  • *1000ms

  • 2000ms

Image Stable Time Setting

This function sets the image stabilization time before reading, for use in auto-sensing mode when operating environment conditions change.

  • 100ms

Wired transfer language setting

Select the language for wired data transfer.

To allow the PC to read the unit version information, scan the following barcode.

All Decoding Bar Code

The scanner allows or forbids reading all supported barcodes by scanning the following setting barcodes. It will only allow reading the setting codes after scanning the forbidden code.

  • Allow reading all the bar code types
  • Forbid reading all the bar code types

Bar Code Rotating Function

Scan the following barcodes to set the scanner to allow or forbid reading 360° rotating barcodes. Forbidding the 360° rotate function can improve scanning speed.

Scan the following barcodes to set the scanner to allow or forbid reading UPCE1 codes.

    • Irresistible damage (e.g., natural disasters like thunder, earthquakes, fire, etc.).
  4. Please fill in the warranty card carefully and do not obliterate it. Otherwise, maintenance charges will apply.
  5. Please keep this card safe. NADAMOO will not provide another warranty card.
