Functional Description
Mode: Fixed Assigned Authorization (Private Mode)
In this mode, a pre-set code operates the lock. This mode is ideal for user groups where user rights do not require frequent changes, such as in office cabinets.
Master Key
The lock can be unlocked using the Master Key if the code is lost.
Note: The Master Key is not included in the scope of delivery. It can be ordered separately if required.
Configuration
1. Set the Code
- Unlock the lock with the valid code (default: 0-0-0-0). Turn the [setting screw] 90° to the right [➡️] using a [screwdriver].
- Carefully turn the [number wheels] one after another until they [engage] (from top to bottom / from left to right). Do not proceed to the next number wheel until the previous one has engaged. Once all number wheels have engaged, the valid code can be read off.
- Turn the [setting screw] back to the initial position [↩️].
Code Finding and Master Key Opening
The [Master Key] can be used to read the valid code and unlock the lock.
- Insert the [Master Key] into the [keyhole] and turn it 90° to the left [↩️].
- While the [Master Key] remains in this position, carefully pull off the [number wheel housing] to the left.
- Insert a [pin] into the back of the [number wheel housing], as far as possible into the first opening from the left. Turn the number wheel from the front until it engages. Repeat this procedure for all number wheels. Once all number wheels have engaged, the valid code can be read off.
- Remove the [pin] and carefully slide the [number wheel housing] back onto the lock until it engages. Turn the [Master Key] back to its original position and pull it off.
Operation
1. Unlock
- Set the valid code using the [number wheels].
- Press the [release button] and hold it. Turn the lock 90° to the right [➡️]. The lock is now unlocked.
2. Lock
- Turn the lock back to the initial position [↩️].
- Turn the [number wheels] to lock the lock. In this state, the [release button] cannot be pressed, and the lock cannot be unlocked.
