Rules for Conducting the Promotion: "Guaranteed Protection as a Gift"

Place of Promotion
The promotion is conducted on the territory of Ukraine, excluding areas of combat operations and temporarily occupied territories, through the Citrus online store.

Participants
All capable citizens of Ukraine who meet the requirements and conditions of these Rules during the Promotion Period are eligible to participate.
Employees and representatives of the Organizer and any other company involved in the promotion are not eligible to participate.
Conditions of Participation
When purchasing a promotional item from the ctrs.com.ua website or at Citrus physical stores, the customer receives the service product "Guaranteed Protection" for a period of 12 months for 1 UAH for Android smartphones or for 499 UAH for iOS smartphones. The list of promotional items is provided in Appendix No. 1.
The return of a Promotional item is carried out in accordance with the legislation of Ukraine, specifically the Law "On Consumer Protection".
"Guaranteed Protection" Service Details
For 1 UAH:
- Within 1 year from the date of purchase, a one-time screen replacement is provided, regardless of the cause of damage.
- OR compensation in the amount of 60% of the retail price of an analogous device in any condition.
- Compensation is provided in the form of a discount for the purchase of a new device.
- Exchange is possible for any type of technical equipment.
For 499 UAH:
- 75% compensation in case of mechanical damage.
- 80% compensation in case of absence of mechanical damage.
- Compensation is provided in the form of a discount for the purchase of a new device at Citrus stores.
Additional Services:
- Software and technical support for 12 months from the date of purchase.
- Service for setting up the smartphone and transferring data.
Warranty Service Conditions
For the 1 UAH Service (Android Devices):
- Warranty service is provided by the official service centers of the Android device manufacturer or authorized partners.
- The warranty is valid for 1 year from the date of purchase.
- In case of detection of a factory defect, the device is sent for diagnostics and repair in accordance with the manufacturer's warranty terms.
- Software activation or setup of the device by the seller before sale does not affect the warranty conditions.
- To receive warranty service, you must present a valid warranty card and purchase receipt.
For the 499 UAH Service (Apple Devices):
- The 1-year warranty service is provided directly by Apple Inc. This means that in case of a factory defect, the device will be sent for diagnostics and further action to an Apple Inc. service center in accordance with the terms of the worldwide warranty.
- Diagnostics should be understood as software and hardware intervention on the device.
- Software activation of Apple products performed by the Seller before the sale for quality verification does not affect the terms and conditions of warranty service.
Exclusions from Warranty Coverage
For the 1 UAH Service:
- Consumables (e.g., batteries, protective coatings) whose quality deteriorates over time, unless the defect is due to materials or workmanship.
- Cosmetic damage, such as scratches, dents, or damaged plastic in the connector area, unless the defect is due to materials or workmanship.
- Damage resulting from the use of unofficial or third-party accessories that do not comply with the device's technical specifications.
- Damage due to improper or careless use (liquid ingress, drops, impacts, natural disasters).
- Damage from intervention or repair by unauthorized, third-party service centers.
- Damage from modifications made without the manufacturer's permission.
- Normal wear and tear of parts.
- Data loss or software issues (viruses, malware).
- Absence or damage to the serial number.
- Devices with activated locks without proof of ownership.
For the 499 UAH Service (Apple Devices):
- Consumables (e.g., batteries, protective coatings) whose quality deteriorates over time, unless the defect is due to materials or workmanship.
- Cosmetic damage, such as scratches, dents, or damaged plastic in the connector area, unless the defect is due to materials or workmanship.
- Damage resulting from the use of components or products from third-party manufacturers that do not comply with Apple product specifications. Apple product specifications can be found on the website www.apple.com or in stores.
- Damage due to accident, improper or unintended use, fire, contact with liquids, earthquake, or other external causes.
- Defects resulting from the operation of an Apple product if the recommendations in the user manual, technical specifications, or other published instructions from Apple are not followed.
- Damage resulting from servicing (including upgrades and expansions) by a person who is not an authorized representative of Apple or an Apple Authorized Service Provider (AASP).
- An Apple product that has undergone hardware modifications to improve its functionality or expand its capabilities without Apple's written permission.
- Defects resulting from normal wear and tear of the Apple product or other related causes.
- Cases where the serial number has been removed or erased from the Apple product.
- Cases where Apple has received information from government or registration authorities that the product has been stolen, or when the specified access code cannot be reset or other security measures preventing unauthorized access cannot be disabled, and legal use of the product cannot be confirmed (e.g., by providing proof of purchase). To the extent permitted by local law, Apple may provide hardware identifier information to relevant authorities or registries for security and fraud prevention purposes.
- If the device has an active iCloud account.
Promotion Terms
- Compensation can only be utilized within the first year from the date of purchase.
- The valuation is based on the retail price of the same device at the time of inquiry.
- If a model is discontinued, the valuation is calculated based on the last retail price of that model.
- The obtained valuation is not paid in cash but is provided as a discount for any new device chosen by the customer.
- The service can be used only once.
- The promotion is compatible with credit programs according to the standard credit menu for the respective product category.
- The promotion is compatible with other active promotions and Citrus Plus bonuses.
Organizer's Disclaimers and Responsibilities
The Organizer and involved third parties are not responsible for force majeure events, such as natural disasters, fires, floods, military actions of any nature, blockades, significant changes in legislation in effect in the promotion territory, or other circumstances beyond the control of the Executor/Organizer and involved third parties.
The Organizer is not obligated to reimburse any participant expenses, including, but not limited to, transportation and telephone costs incurred during participation in the promotion.
Other Terms
- The Organizer has the right to unilaterally change the definition of participants, prize pool, suspend, resume, or terminate the terms of these Rules and the promotion at any time. Notifications about additions or changes to these Rules and promotion conditions will be posted on the Organizer's Internet page: https://www.ctrs.com.ua/.
- Participants agree to be photographed and/or video recorded as part of the promotion, and to the use of their name, surname, photograph, interviews, or other materials about them for marketing purposes. This includes the right to publish their name and photographs on the internet, in mass media, print publications, audio, and video materials, without territorial or time limitations for such use. Such use is not compensated (paid for) by the Organizers or third parties.
- In case of ambiguous interpretation of these Rules or arising disputes and issues not regulated by these Rules, the final decision is made by the Organizer. The Organizer's decision is final and not subject to appeal.
- The promotion is valid as long as the promotional stock lasts.
- By participating in the Promotion, Participants confirm their full agreement with all conditions set forth in these Rules and undertake to comply with them.
- By participating in the Promotion, Participants confirm their full agreement with the registration in the "Citrus Plus" Loyalty Program and their full agreement with all rules of the "Citrus Plus" loyalty program.
Appendix No. 1: List of Promotional Items
Appendix No. 1 lists numerous smartphone models, primarily from Apple (various iPhone generations and configurations), as well as models from Infinix, Tecno, Moto, Oppo, Realme, and Doogee. Each entry includes the model name, an Item ID (IDD), and an associated Insurance IDD. The "Guaranteed Protection for Android" service is noted with an IDD of 773063.
