What's In The Box
Please inspect the contents of your shipped package to ensure you have received everything that is listed below.
The package typically includes:
- Orion Mini Geared Head
- 3 x Cranks Handles
- 3 x Screws & Washers
- 100mm Bowl Base
- Allen Key T-Type (Size: 4mm)
- Bag Packing
Orion Mini Geared Head Setup
Step 1: Prepare the Bowl Base
Detach the half bowl from the 100mm bowl base.
Step 2: Attach Half Bowl to Geared Head
Attach the half bowl to the bottom of the Orion Mini and secure it with the help of a wrench (Not Included).

Step 3: Loosen Side Screw
Loosen the screw and washer from the side ends of the Orion Mini with the help of the provided Allen key.
Step 4: Attach Crank Handle
Attach the crank handle after removing the screw and washer.
Step 5: Secure Crank Handle
Secure the crank handle by attaching the screw and washer with the help of the provided Allen key.
Step 6: Secure Camera Plate
Tighten the ratchet knob on the plate to secure the camera setup.
Step 7: Mount Geared Head to Tripod
Insert the thread of the Orion Mini Geared Head into the 100mm bowl tripod stand (Not Included).
Secure the thread from the bottom with the tightening knob.
Step 8: Release and Slide Top Plate
Loosen the ratchet knob on the top plate of the Geared Head and press the push button on the other side.
Slide out the top plate.
Step 9: Attach Camera to Plate
Attach the plate to the camera base (Not Included) and tighten its bolt with a screwdriver (Not Included). Then, slide the plate onto the top of the Geared Head.
NOTE: Orion Mini Gear Head works with most DSLR Video Cameras.
Step 10: Final Securing
Tighten the ratchet knob on the plate to secure the camera setup.
Features and Operation
NOTE: The Geared Head features sturdy cranks for Panning & Tilting. The tilting crank offers one-axis movement and allows 45° tilting on each side. The panning crank offers 360° panning for accurate panoramic shots.
The geared head includes a Backlash Control Knob. Tightening this knob makes the panning crank handles tight, and loosening it allows the handles to move smoothly.

Warranty Information
PROAIM offers a one-year warranty for its products from the date of purchase. Within this period, repairs will be made without charge for labor or parts. The warranty does not cover transportation costs or damage resulting from misuse or accidental damage. Warranty repairs are subject to inspection and evaluation by PROAIM.
