Via USB Output Port
The USB output ports of this portable power station support the following charging protocols:
Charging Protocol | |
---|---|
USB-C | UFCS (36W) / PD3.0 / QC3.0 |
USB-A | QC3.0 |
When charging your electronic devices, it is recommended to use a compatible USB charging cable. If the charging cable or electronic device does not support the corresponding protocol, maximum output power may not be achieved.
Via 12V DC Output Port
When powering appliances using the portable power station's cigarette lighter port, ensure the cigarette lighter port's instantaneous startup current/voltage requirements match those of the appliance. Failure to do so may prevent the appliance from starting correctly (on-site testing may be required).
The 12V DC output port supports a total power output of 126W.
Charging the Portable Power Station
When charging an extra battery, always connect the portable power station to a power source.
Charging Power:
When connected to a compatible EcoFlow extra battery, charging speed can reach approximately 2,000W.
Charging Priority:
The portable power station supports simultaneous connection to multiple input sources via the AC input port, XT60 input port, and extra battery port (XT150). The charging priority is as follows:
Source | Connection |
---|---|
EcoFlow Microinverter | Via XT150 DC Port |
Solar Power | Via XT60 DC Port |
AC Power | Via AC Input Port (including grid power and generator power) |
EcoFlow Smart Generator | Via XT150 DC Port |
EcoFlow Alternator Charger | Via XT150 DC Port |
The above charging priority rules may be updated with product revisions. By default, clean and stable power sources are typically used.
Charging via Wall Outlet
Connect the portable power station's AC input port to a wall outlet using the included AC charging cable. The input port supports a maximum charging output of 1500W. Charging speed can be set via the EcoFlow app.
Solar Charging
The portable power station's XT60i input port supports both solar charging and car socket charging.
Here are basic guidelines for connecting solar panels to charge the portable power station:
- Use the EcoFlow XT60i to Solar Charging Cable (sold separately) to connect this port to solar panels.
- To prevent damage to this product, ensure the total Voc (open circuit voltage) of the solar panels is within 60V and the total Isc (short circuit current) is within 15A.
- For series or parallel connections, refer to the solar panel manual for details.
If both AC input and solar input are connected, solar charging is prioritized by default. If solar power is insufficient, additional power will be supplied via AC input. For detailed charging data, refer to the device homepage in the EcoFlow app.
Charging via Car Socket
The portable power station's XT60i input port supports both solar charging and car socket charging. Use the included car socket charging cable to connect the portable power station's car socket charging input port to a vehicle's cigarette lighter socket.
To prevent starting failures due to low car battery, start the car before connecting the charging cable. Also, ensure the cable is securely connected to the cigarette lighter socket.
Charging from a Generator
Method 1: Via AC Input Port
Use the included AC charging cable to connect the portable power station's AC input port to a generator.
Method 2: Via Extra Battery Port
Use the EcoFlow Extra Battery Cable to connect the portable power station to the EcoFlow generator's XT150 port.
Only compatible with EcoFlow Smart Generator.
Charging from EcoFlow Microinverter
Use the EcoFlow BKW-DELTA EB Cable (sold separately) to connect the portable power station to a microinverter. Adding the portable power station to your PowerStream system allows for 24/7 solar energy use and electricity bill savings.
Charging from EcoFlow Alternator Charger
Use the XT150 output cable to connect the portable power station to the charger's portable power port.
Advanced Features
Battery Capacity Expansion
For situations requiring intensive power use or extended use during power outages, an extra battery can be connected in advance.
- Connect the extra battery to the portable power station's extra battery port.
- When the extra battery is properly connected, a battery icon will appear on the portable power station's screen.
X-Boost: Powering High-Wattage Appliances
X-Boost is an innovative technology unique to EcoFlow portable power stations. This feature allows the portable power station to power appliances that require more than its rated output.
How to Use This Feature:
X-Boost is disabled by default. To use it, follow these steps:
- Connect high-wattage appliances to the portable power station's AC output port.
- Open the EcoFlow app and log in to your EcoFlow account.
- Turn on X-Boost in the device settings.
What Appliances Are Compatible with X-Boost?
- X-Boost is suitable for heating devices such as electric blankets, water heaters, and heat pumps.
- X-Boost is not compatible with appliances that have voltage protection (e.g., precision instruments). If such devices are connected, they may stop operating when the voltage drops.
X-Boost cannot be used while the portable power station is connected to AC power (during charging or in bypass mode). Bypass mode: When recharging and discharging devices simultaneously (via AC input and output ports), the device automatically enables bypass mode.
Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS): Backup for Critical Devices
UPS is a system that continuously supplies backup power during grid power loss. This portable power station can be used as a UPS to support essential appliances.
The portable power station functions as a standby UPS with a switching time of 10 milliseconds. When a power outage occurs and appliances can no longer use grid power, the portable power station automatically switches to supply battery power to the connected appliances.
Basic Setup:
- Connect the portable power station to a wall outlet to utilize grid power.
- Connect appliances to the portable power station to operate them using the portable power station's output during a power outage.
In this setting, the portable power station must receive more power from the grid than it supplies to connected devices. This allows the portable power station to charge and maintain the battery using surplus power. If this is not possible, the battery will not charge, and the portable power station will not function as a UPS.
