By altaria1993 on March 17, 2008

Introduction

This guide will show you how to create a paper model gun. While the example focuses on the Beretta 92fs, the techniques are generally applicable to most paper gun models.

Step 1: What Will You Need?

To begin, gather the following materials:

Note: The templates used in this guide were uploaded by the author and are not original creations.

Step 2: Starting: The Barrel

Begin by cutting out the parts for the barrel. It is recommended to start with the barrel, then the slide, handle, and finally the trigger and trigger guard.

Follow these steps:

  1. Print your templates and instruction papers.
  2. Cut out the necessary parts.
  3. If your glue bottle is dried out, use tweezers to clean it.
  4. Apply glue to the designated flaps.
  5. Use tweezers to hold the glued parts together until the glue sets. This is particularly helpful for small or difficult-to-hold pieces.
  6. Assemble the barrel components.

Step 3: The Rest of the Barrel and Slide

Continue assembling the barrel and slide components.

Technique for folding small flaps:

For the slide, since this model does not have a movable slide, no special holes are needed for the barrel to pass through.

Assemble the barrel by cutting it out, folding the flaps, and applying glue to the main flap to connect the sides. Ensure all parts align correctly.

Step 4: Connecting the Main Parts of the Gun

This step involves assembling the primary components of the gun. While specific steps may vary for different models, common sense should guide the process.

  1. Assemble the remaining parts of the gun, excluding fine details.
  2. Join all the parts together.
  3. Apply glue to one part and attach the other.
  4. The assembly is now complete. This process took approximately 2 hours for the Beretta 92fs model.
  5. Inspect the assembled gun, including the sights.

Enjoy your completed paper model gun!
