DIY Tutorial – Magnetic Shock-Absorbing Cushion

Materials

Materials Details / Usage
Main fabric 1 piece for the top (approx. 14 × 7 cm)
Secondary fabric 1 piece slightly smaller for the bottom (approx. 13 × 6 cm)
Small flat magnets (x5) To slip in or attach inside, magnetic side facing out
Double-sided adhesive tape To hold the magnets in place (or alternative: sewn pockets)
Padding Batting, foam, scrap fabric, bubble wrap, etc.
Sewing thread Suitable for the thickness of the chosen fabric
Needles / Sewing machine To sew edges and details
Scissors For cleanly cutting the fabrics
Pins or clips To hold pieces before sewing
Chalk or fabric pencil To draw the pattern or mark reference points
Paper pattern (optional) Shape template for more precise cutting

Materials Visual Guide
