Important Safety Precautions
When using electrical equipment, basic safety precautions should always be followed, including the following:
- Read all instructions carefully before installing and save for future use.
- Make sure all connections are in accordance with the National Electrical Code and local regulations.
- To avoid possible electric shock, be sure the power supply is turned off before servicing or installing the fixture.
- Service should be performed by qualified personnel.

Mounting with Junction Box Cover
This section details the steps for mounting the luminaire, typically using a junction box cover.
- 1. FIXTURE HOUSING: The main body of the luminaire.
- 2. Wall Plate: Mounted independently over a horizontal 2x4 outlet box using wall anchors and mounting screws (provided by others). An optional JBC option is required for mounting over a 4" octagonal junction box.
- 3. WIRES: Electrical wires extending from the LED lamp plate through the fixture housing, to be connected to the junction box power.
- 4. Lens Frame Mounting Screws: Used to secure the lens frame.
- 5. LED LAMP PLATE: The component housing the LED light source.
- 6. LENSING: The translucent material that diffuses light.
- 7. LENS FRAME: The outer frame that holds the lensing.
- J-BOX COVER PLATE: A plate that covers the junction box.
- JUNCTION BOX (By Others): The electrical box where wiring connections are made.
Installation Steps:
- Mount the wall plate independently over a horizontal, 2 x 4 outlet box, using wall anchors and mounting screws (provided by others).
- Note: If mounting over a 4" octagonal junction box, the JBC option (not shown) must be ordered.
- Route wires from the LED lamp plate through the fixture housing. Connect these wires to the junction box power, pushing connections into the junction box.
- Secure the fixture housing to the wall plate using the (2) provided keps nuts.
- Secure the LED lamp plate to the fixture housing with the provided screws.
- Ensure the lensing material is in place as part of the electrical enclosure.
- Place the lens frame over the lensing and secure it with the provided screws.
