i-PRO Wi-Fi USB Adapter User Guide
This document provides instructions and information for using the i-PRO Wi-Fi USB Adapter.
Compatible Models
The Wi-Fi USB Adapter can be used with the following i-PRO camera models:
- WV-S7130UX (i-PRO mini)
- WV-B71300-F3 / WV-B71300-F3-1 (i-PRO mini L)
- WV-S8574LUX / S8573LUX / S8544LUX / S8543LUX (Multi-sensor cameras)
- WV-S85702-F3L / WV-S85402-V2L / WV-U85402-V2L (2-eye multi-sensor cameras)
- WV-S71301-F2L / WV-B71301-F2LR (Camera with wired speaker model)
Preparation
To use the Wi-Fi USB Adapter, you will need:
- Wi-Fi USB Adapter (purchased separately, see verified list below)
- Tablet or smartphone (purchased separately, see verified list in Section 4)
- Ensure Google Chrome is installed on your tablet or smartphone.
- A camera that is powered on at the final installation location.

Important: The operating temperature range for the Wi-Fi USB adapter is 0°C to 40°C. If used outside this range, wireless image confirmation may not be possible. In such cases, use a network cable connected to the camera to check the camera's image.
Precautions for Tablet/Smartphone Use
Browser Usage
- When accessing the camera using a tablet or smartphone with the Wi-Fi USB adapter, it is recommended to use Google Chrome.
- Google Chrome can be downloaded and installed from the Apple App Store or Google Play.
- If you are installing multiple cameras, it is recommended to bookmark the camera's IP address (http://192.168.12.10) in your browser before accessing them.
- After registering, select the camera from your browser's bookmarks and confirm that the initial screen is displayed.
Wi-Fi Connection
- When connecting to the camera using the Wi-Fi USB adapter with a tablet or smartphone, use it within 10 meters of the camera. Poor signal strength may cause the video stream to be interrupted.
- Connection status may vary depending on the installation environment and weather conditions. Please check the signal strength indicator on your device before connecting. (Refer to the signal strength display on your device, shown below)

Usage Flow
Here is a general overview of the usage flow. For details, please refer to the "Installation" section of the instruction manual.
- Download the instruction manual from: https://i-pro.com/products_and_solutions/ja/surveillance/documentation-database
- Alternatively, if there is a 2D barcode for the instruction manual on the product packaging, you can refer to it directly using your tablet or smartphone.
6-1. Attaching the Wi-Fi USB Adapter to the Camera
Attach the Wi-Fi USB adapter to the camera body.
6-2. Connecting to the Camera
On your tablet or smartphone, enable "Wi-Fi connection" and connect to the Wi-Fi USB adapter attached to the camera.
- SSID: "Product Model Number_Serial Number"
- Password: "cam_Serial Number"
6-3. Accessing the Camera
Launch Google Chrome (browser) on your tablet or smartphone and enter the following URL to connect to the camera:
- http://192.168.12.10 (If connection fails, try http://10.0.0.10)
6-4. Confirming the Initial Screen
Confirm that the camera's initial screen is displayed.

Troubleshooting Connection Issues
7-1. If Video Stream is Interrupted or Not Displayed Correctly
Please try the following:
- Check the signal strength and move closer to the camera to access it again.
- Close and reopen the browser, then access the camera.
- Clear the browser's cache.
- Disconnect and reconnect the Wi-Fi connection.
7-2. If Wi-Fi Connection is Not Working
- Try connecting using a different device (tablet or smartphone).
- If connection still fails with other devices:
- Remove and reinsert the Wi-Fi USB adapter, wait a while, and try connecting again. Alternatively, try connecting with a different Wi-Fi USB adapter.
- If the Wi-Fi USB adapter is not recognized correctly by the camera, please check the following:
- Is the model you are using verified for operation?
- Update the camera's firmware to the latest version.
