Safety Instructions
⚠️ Not suitable for children under 6 years (contains small parts).
? Do not operate cooling components without coolant flow. Risk of burns and hardware damage.
Ensure the pump is functioning when the hardware is switched on.
Do not use tools like screwdrivers or pliers on connectors or fittings. Plastic parts can be easily overloaded, leading to cracks or damage. Such damage, including from leaking coolant, is not covered by warranty.
Use only connectors with a sealing o-ring; hand-tightening is sufficient. Tools are only for exceptional cases as indicated in the manual.
Check hardware and cooling system functionality (tightness, pump, fans) to minimize troubleshooting time. Alphacool International GmbH is not liable for manufacturer warranty of electronic components. Assembly is at your own risk.
Do not overtighten screws, as this can loosen mounting bolts and compromise uniform cooler pressure.
Connectors with 8mm long threads may restrict flow.
Perform a leak test before assembly/installation. Water pressure in the loop should not exceed 0.8 bar. Do not use tools on connectors.
Ensure the cooler contacts all components to be cooled via thermal grease and pads. The imprint on the GPU should be even.
Use only distilled water or Alphacool Cape Kelvin Catcher in your cooling circuit. Damage from unsuitable coolant is not covered by warranty.
Alphacool International GmbH cooling components are licensed for Alphacool computer construction parts. Misuse voids warranty.
Installation Steps
Step 1: Original Cooler Disassembly
Place the graphics card hardware on an antistatic mat.
Begin dismantling the original cooler. Remove screws at the back of the card and carefully unhook the fan connector first.
If the original cooler uses thermal glue, exercise extreme caution to avoid damaging parts.
Carefully pick up all disassembled items.
Clean the hardware of thermal paste or pad residues using a solvent like alcohol.
Before assembly, compare your graphics card with the provided image to ensure compatibility, as manufacturers may revise designs.
During assembly, ensure taller components have adequate clearance and the cooler does not damage the graphics card.
Alphacool International GmbH is not liable for assembly errors due to negligence or selecting an incompatible cooler.
Step 2: Prepare Cooler Surfaces and Thermal Pads
Clean the contact surfaces on the bottom side of the cooler with alcohol or a similar solvent. The surface must be free of contaminants.
Remove the protective foils from the thermal pads.
Place the pads on the copper block as shown in the diagram. [Diagram showing thermal pad placement on the copper block]
Step 3: Apply Thermal Paste
Using a plastic strip or similar tool, spread a thin, even layer of thermal paste onto the GPU.
The layer should be less than a millimeter thick to prevent contamination of surrounding components.
Step 4: Mount the Cooler to the Graphics Card
Place the graphics card onto the prepared cooler.
Fasten the card using the 13 M2x5 screws. Hand-tighten the screws crosswise, one turn at a time.

Step 5: Retighten Screws
After approximately 12 hours of use, retighten all screws.
Step 6: Connect Digital RGB Lighting
To control the digital RGB lighting, connect the included adapter to the 3-pin female connector.
Plug this into a compatible digital RGB controller (e.g., Alphacool Aurora Eiscontrol, Art. 15360, not included).
Additional digital RGB LEDs can be connected to the remaining 3-pin male connector.

Mounting the Backplate
To mount the graphics card manufacturer's backplate, first attach the PCB with 5 (M2x5) spring screws around the GPU (marked blue in the diagram).
Screw the backplate using the 8 M2 x 8 counter-sunk head screws.
Hand-tighten the screws carefully.
It is recommended to retighten the screws after 24 hours of operation.
