Traceable Refrigerator/Freezer Digital Thermometer

Initial Setup

Follow these steps to set up your Traceable Digital Thermometer:

Remove the battery door and insert batteries.
Insert the probe (included).
Using a paper clip, insert into the reset button opening to enable settings.
Set alarms using the HI and LO buttons.
Allow the unit to come to temperature.
Activate the alarm using the slider.

Configure Thermometer

Set the temperature metric (°C or °F) and sample rate (fast/normal) using the sliders.

Configure Alarm

Press the Mode button to enter Alarm mode.

Alarm Behavior

The buzzer can be silenced with the Mute button.
The alarm bar indicator will only stop when the temperature is in range or the alarm is set to Off.
The appropriate alarm icon (HI or LO) will blink until the alarm is set to Off.

Display Modes

Normal Display Mode

Press the Mode button to switch between modes.

In Normal Display Mode, the screen shows the current reading, Max memory, and Min memory values.

Alarm Display Mode

This mode displays the HI alarm setting and LO alarm setting.

Alarm Bar Behavior

When the measured temperature is within 1° of the alarm setting, the visual alarm bar will blink orange.
When the measured temperature is reached or exceeds the alarm setting, the alarm bar will blink red, and the buzzer will sound. The Alarm Icon (HI or LO) will blink.
When the temperature returns to normal, the alarm bar and buzzer will stop alarming. However, the Alarm icon will continue to blink until the alarm slider is moved to the Off position.
The appropriate alarm icon will blink until the alarm slider is moved to the Off position.

Display Messages

Pr - Probe has been removed.
Pi - Probe has been inserted.
HH - High temperature limit has been exceeded.
LL - Low temperature limit has been exceeded.

Device Functions

Press the clear button to clear Min/Max memory.
Press the mute button to mute the alarm buzzer.
