Switching On

Insert two batteries into the remote control. Ensure you use the specified battery types and correct polarity. Do not mix new and used batteries, or use rechargeable batteries. Remove batteries if the remote control is not used for a long period.

Connect the power cable first to the television, then to a mains socket. If the power indicator lights up, the TV is in standby mode. Press the power button on the remote control or on the TV set to turn it on.

Switching Off

To put the TV set into standby mode, press the power button. The TV remains powered up but with low energy consumption. To switch off the TV set completely, unplug the mains socket from the mains outlet.

Power Cord and Signal Cable

Ensure that nothing rests on or rolls over the power cord and signal cable. Protect them from being trampled. Do not overload the power cord or outlet. Do not expose the power cord and signal cable to moisture.
