Note: Charge for 6 hours during the day before first use.

Product Overview

The TECKNET Outdoor Solar Light includes the following components:

• Screw Hole: For mounting the light.
• Solar Panel: Captures sunlight for charging the battery.
• PIR Motion Sensor: Detects movement to activate lighting.
• Power Button: Used to turn the light on and select lighting modes.

Installation

1. Select a position where the solar panel can get enough sunshine. Mount the solar light to the exact position using the provided screws and plastic anchors.
2. Press the power button to turn on the light and select a desired lighting mode.

• Method 2: Shows the light being mounted to a surface using screws and plastic anchors inserted into pre-drilled holes.

Notes on Operation

• The solar light will not light up in the daytime or in a bright area after you select the mode. It will light up at night or in a dark area.
• The solar panel charges quicker under strong sunlight. It charges slowly or not at all under weak sunlight. Charging time depends on sunlight intensity.
• Lighting time depends on the energy generated by the solar panel during the day.

Lighting Modes

The solar light comes with 3 modes. Press the Power Button to change the lighting mode.

• Medium Light Mode (Stay On at Night): The solar light charges during the day and automatically turns on with medium light in dark surroundings or at night.
• Dim Light Sensor Mode: The solar light charges during the day and automatically turns on with dim light in dark surroundings or at night when no motion is detected. It switches to bright light when motion is detected and stays on for about 15-25 seconds. It returns to dim light when no motion is detected.
• Bright Light Sensor Mode: The solar light charges during the day and automatically turns on with bright light in dark surroundings or at night when motion is detected, staying on for about 15-25 seconds. The light turns off when no motion is detected.

Precautions

• Keep the solar panel surface clean to collect sunlight more effectively.
• The built-in battery may lose power if there is no good sunlight for several days, preventing the light from turning on at night. It will operate normally once sufficient sunlight is available.
• In extreme cold temperatures, or on cloudy, rainy, or snowy days, the battery may not be fully charged, potentially reducing the duration of bright light.
• Do not disassemble the product to maintain its waterproof feature.

FAQs

• Q: How to use the outdoor solar light effectively in winter when the daytime is short?
  A: Use the third mode in winter: Bright Light Sensor Mode (press 3 times). This optimizes solar energy use and prolongs product life.
• Q: What should I do if I fail to turn on the light when I receive the product?
  A: During long transportation, the light's power may be exhausted. Please charge the solar light under the sun for 6 hours before first use.
• Q: What should I do if the product does not light up after charging?
  A: The lights only turn on at night or in dark surroundings. If using the Bright Light Sensor Mode, it activates at night only when motion is detected. It will not turn on during the day or in a bright place at night.
• Q: The solar panel is covered. Will this affect normal use of the light?
  A: If the solar panel is covered by heavy dust, snow, etc., the covered part may heat up (the "Hotspot Effect"), potentially damaging the panel. Ensure there are no obstructions around the solar panel during installation to avoid reduced power generation efficiency.

What this warranty covers: Shenzhen Unichain Technology Co., LTD. (Manufacturer: “Unichain”) warrants to the original purchaser of this TECKNET product that the product shall be free of defects in design, assembly, material, or workmanship.

Period of coverage: Unichain warrants the TECKNET product for 12 Months.

What will we do to correct problems: Unichain will repair or replace, at its option, any defective product free of charge (except for shipping charges for the product).

What is not covered by this warranty: All above warranties are null and void if the TECKNET product is not provided to Unichain for inspection upon Unichain’s request at the sole expense of the purchaser, or if Unichain determines that the TECKNET product has been improperly installed, altered in any way, or tampered with. The TECKNET Product Warranty does not protect against acts of God such as flood, earthquake, lightning, war, vandalism, theft, normal-use wear and tear, erosion, depletion, obsolescence, abuse, damage due to low voltage disturbances (e.g. brownouts or sags), non-authorized program, or system equipment modification or alteration.
