Important Information and Precautions
CAUTION: This stand (model name: FS21GB/FS22GB) is designed exclusively for TVs manufactured by LG Electronics Inc. Using it with other equipment may render it unstable and cause injury.
Precautions Before Installation
- The Gallery Stand does not include a power strip. Purchase and use a power strip of an appropriate length (2.5 meters / 8.2 feet or more recommended) to connect a TV or other devices.
- The maximum weight mountable on the rear brackets of the Gallery Stand is 1.5 kg (3.3 lbs).
- Mounting a wireless router on the rear brackets may cause frequency interference with the TV's built-in wireless antenna, potentially affecting the AI remote control.
- Mounting a set-top box on the rear brackets may block its remote control reception unit, causing reception problems. If issues persist, use the enclosed IR repeater (signal extension cable).
IR Repeater Mounting Guide
For installation positions, refer to symbols A-C in Figure 9 of the installation manual.
- A: Reception unit (Connect to the set-top box's reception unit)
- B: Transmission unit (Attach with the symbol facing forward, at the lower end of the Gallery Stand)
- Power connection unit (Connect to the TV or set-top box USB terminal)
Installation Instructions
How to Prevent TV from Falling
To prevent the TV from falling, follow these steps:
- Fix the brackets onto the rear part of the TV and the wall at the same height, as shown in the illustration.
- Verify that both the TV brackets and wall brackets are firmly fastened.
- Using a strong cord, tie and connect the TV brackets to the wall brackets. Untie the cord before moving the TV.
- Install the TV in the horizontal position only.
- This installation method is safe and prevents product damage or personal injury, even if the TV is pulled forward.
- Install the TV near a wall to prevent falls if it is pushed.
- Brackets, screws, and cords must be purchased separately as they are not provided with the product.
How to Adjust the Height on Both Sides of the TV on Gallery Stand
To adjust the TV height on the Gallery Stand:
Loosen the screw halfway using a Phillips screwdriver, adjust the height on both sides of the TV as illustrated, and then tighten the screw.
