Product Pictures & Dimensions
The Omada ES228GP switch has dimensions of 440 mm (width) × 180 mm (depth) × 44 mm (height). The front panel features 24 x 10/100/1000Mbps RJ45 PoE+ ports, 2 x Gigabit SFP slots, and 2 x 10/100/1000Mbps RJ45 ports. Status LEDs and control buttons (Mode, Reset) are visible.
Omada Solution
Omada's Software Defined Networking (SDN) platform integrates network devices, including access points, switches, and gateways, providing 100% centralized cloud management. Omada creates a highly scalable network—all controlled from a single interface.
The Omada solution diagram illustrates a network architecture. It shows various Omada Access Points (Ceiling Mount AP, Wall Plate AP, Outdoor AP) and Long-range Outdoor Bridges connecting to an Omada PoE Switch. The switch is connected to the internet via an Omada VPN Gateway. Management options include Cloud-based control (accessed via Web Browser or Omada App) and On-Premises Controllers (Hardware or Software). Key features of the Omada ecosystem are highlighted: Hassle-Free Cloud or On-Premises Controllers, Multi-Site Cloud Management, Zero-Touch Provisioning (ZTP)†, and Intelligent Monitoring.

Notes and Disclaimers
These functions require the use of the Omada Controller. Zero-Touch Provisioning requires the use of Omada Central (Omada Central Standard or Omada Central Essentials).
* PoE budget calculations are based on laboratory testing. The actual PoE power budget is not guaranteed and will vary due to client limitations and environmental factors.
** When Extend Mode is enabled, the speed of ports that support 820ft (250m) PoE transmission will be downgraded to 10 Mbps. Actual transmission distance may vary depending on the quality of the cables.
