Introduction
This document provides installation and usage instructions for the Hansgrohe Talis Classic faucet series, including models 14111XXX, 14116XXX, 14118XXX, and 14120XXX.
Safety Instructions ⚠️
- Wear gloves ? during installation to prevent crushing and cutting injuries.
- The product is intended solely for bathing, hygiene, and body cleansing purposes.
- Ensure that pressure differences between hot and cold water supplies are balanced.
Installation Instructions
Follow these steps for proper installation:
- The fitting must be installed, flushed, and tested according to valid norms.
- If you encounter issues with instantaneous water heaters or require increased water flow, the EcoSmart® (flow limiter) located behind the aerator can be removed.
Installation Steps Overview:
- Step 1: Insert the faucet body into the sink or countertop opening.
- Step 2: From below, secure the faucet using the provided mounting hardware, typically a retaining nut and bracket.
- Step 3: Connect the flexible water supply hoses to the corresponding hot and cold water inlets on the faucet and to the water supply lines.
- Step 4 (Temperature Adjustment): For single-lever mixers with hot water limitation, refer to page 33 for adjustment instructions. This adjustment is not necessary when using a continuous flow water heater.

Technical Drawings and Flow Diagrams
Detailed technical drawings showing dimensions for various Talis Classic models (14111XXX, 14116XXX, 14118XXX, 14120XXX) are provided on pages 34-35.
Flow rate graphs on pages 34-35 illustrate the relationship between water pressure (MPa) and flow rate (l/min or l/sec). These graphs typically show two curves: one representing the faucet with the EcoSmart® flow limiter engaged, and another representing the flow without it.
Spare Parts
An exploded view diagram and a list of spare parts are available on page 38 for reference.
