Parts Description

The Emerio Smart Egg Boiler is a compact kitchen appliance designed for cooking eggs. It features a black base with a heating plate, indicator lights, an ON/OFF button, and a language selection button. A transparent dome lid covers the unit. Included accessories are an egg tray designed to hold multiple eggs, a measuring cup, and an egg piercer integrated into the base of the measuring cup.

Language Selection

To select the desired voice message language: Plug the appliance into a power outlet. Long press the language selection button (9) at the bottom of the appliance. The language cycles with each press. Listen for the corresponding number of beeps to identify the language: 1 beep for English, 2 for German, 3 for French, 4 for Spanish, 5 for Italian, 6 for Polish, 7 for Dutch, and 8 for Swedish. Release the button when the desired language is indicated. The appliance remembers the selection.

How to Use

1. Remove the cover (1) and egg tray (2). Pour water onto the heating plate (3). Use the measuring cup (7); one cup filled to the marking holds 70 ml. For each cooking cycle, use 2 measuring cups (140 ml total) regardless of the number of eggs or desired hardness.
2. Place the egg tray (2) above the heating plate (3).
3. Use the egg piercer (8) to make a small hole in the wide end of each egg. The piercer is very sharp; use with extreme caution to prevent shells from bursting.
4. Place the eggs onto the egg tray (2) with the small end facing downwards. Close the cover (1).
5. Plug the appliance into a power outlet. Press the ON/OFF button (5). A notifying sound will play, and the appliance will begin boiling eggs.
6. After 8 minutes, a voice will announce "soft-boiled eggs," and the first indicator light (4) will turn on.
7. One minute later, a notifying sound will play.
8. After 10 minutes, a voice will announce "medium-boiled eggs," and the first and second indicator lights (4) will turn on.
9. After 12.5 minutes, a notifying sound will play again.
10. After 15 minutes, a voice will announce "hard-boiled eggs," and all three indicator lights (4) will turn on.
11. One minute later, all lights will turn off, and the appliance will automatically shut down.

Notes: The appliance provides voice messages for soft, medium, and hard-boiled eggs, with short audio signals in between. Cooking results may vary based on egg size; larger eggs may require slightly longer cooking times. Eggs can be removed at any time during the cooking process. Be cautious when removing the hot cover; let eggs cool before peeling. Running eggs under cold water can help with peeling.

Cleaning Instructions

Always unplug the appliance and let it cool before cleaning. The egg tray (2) and cover (1) can be washed normally. Clean the heating plate (3) with a damp towel only. Never use abrasive cleaners, metal tools, or steel wool. Do not immerse the appliance in water. For limescale removal on the heating plate, use diluted vinegar (1 part vinegar to 10 parts water). Pour the solution onto the plate, let it soak for about 30 minutes, then pour away the liquid and wipe clean with a damp towel.
