2 Hardware Description
The device features a SIM card slot and status indicator lights for GPS, Power, and GSM signals.

3 Terminal Installation
- Please ask a qualified engineer to install it.
- Ensure the installation environment has good GSM and GPS signals.
- Do not install in a dusty or humid environment.
- Connect the provided 12PIN wiring harness to the corresponding wiring hole of the product and to the original car circuit as shown in the Wiring Diagram.
Wiring Diagram: Shows connections for power, door trigger, ACC, alarm siren, fuel sensor, and engine/pump side. Wires are color-coded: Black (-) Power, Violet SOS, Green (+) Door trigger, Red 3A fuse, Blue (-) Door trigger, White ACC, Orange MIC, Pink to alarm horn, Red/Yellow Fuel sensor (0-5v), Brown to engine side, White with black to pump side.
- The pink wire can connect to the original car alarm horn or a purchased alarm horn.
- Understand the vehicle door trigger type (positive or negative trigger). Connect to the green wire for positive trigger, and the blue wire for negative trigger.
- Install the SOS button where the driver can easily touch it.
- SIM card installation: Open the SIM card buckle, insert the SIM card, and then close the buckle. Ensure the SIM card's network frequency band is supported by the device. Caller ID must be turned on, and the PIN code must be turned off. Call forwarding must not be turned on.

- After inserting the SIM card, connect the positive and negative (red and black) wires of the power supply to the 12V or 24V car power supply. Wait for the device to work normally after 1 minute of power-on.
4 Device Status Light
- Red light: Solid when charging, off when fully charged. Flashes quickly when the battery is low.
- Green light: Flashes every 1 second when GSM signal is normal. Flashes every 3 seconds when in GPRS mode. Solid when no GSM network.
- Blue light: Flashes every 1 second when GPS signal is normal. Flashes 3 times per second when GPS signal is very good. Off if GPS fix is lost.
5 Mobile APP, Web Server Platform, Bluetooth and SMS Support
This GPS Tracker supports management via Mobile APP, Web Server Platform, Bluetooth, and SMS.
- For APP and web platform usage, a SIM card with a data plan or data card is required.
- For SMS usage, a SIM card enabling SMS, voice calls, and caller ID is required.
6 Mobile APP
Download the BAANOOL IOT app by scanning the QR code or searching "BAANOOL IOT" on Google Play or the App Store.

Register
Open BAANOOL IOT, register a new account and login. Choose "BAANOOL car" to enter.
Bind Device
Click the 'Add Device' button on the home page and scan the IMEI number (found on the device side) or enter it manually to bind a new device.
Illustrations show how to add a device by scanning a QR code or entering the IMEI.
Using Tracker
Under normal circumstances, the device automatically selects APN, username, and password. If the device is offline after 3 minutes of binding, set the APN and username/password via Bluetooth or SMS as per sections 11.17 and 11.18. Once online, you can view and manage the device.
7 BAANOOL IOT's Web Version
Access the web version at www.baanooliot.com. The login account name and password are the same as the phone app.

8 Mobile APP and BAANOOL IOT's Web
8.1 Positioning Strategy
Select the working mode and positioning strategy. For stationary periods, set longer intervals (e.g., 1 hour). For moving periods, set shorter intervals (e.g., 10 seconds). The movement trajectory will be displayed when the tracker moves.
8.1.1 Working mode
Working mode | Description |

Real time online | The device is online in real time and reports its location according to the set motion/stationary intervals. |
Smart mode | The device is online in real time by default, reporting location at 10-second intervals when moving and 1-hour intervals when stationary. It can be offline when stationary but can be triggered online by phone calls, SMS, or alarms (SOS, door open, illegal ignition). It wakes up and goes online when in motion. |
8.1.2 Positioning interval
Configure positioning intervals for when the device is moving and when it is stationary. For example, 20 seconds for motion and 2 hours for stationary, with an option to limit the number of reports.

8.2 History playback
Click the playback button to view the historical track.

8.3 Remote immobilizing
Control oil and power: delayed mode, immediate mode, or resume oil and power.
8.4 Arming/Disarming
Supports Arming, Disarming, and Silent arming modes.
8.5 Alarm function in arming state
- 8.5.1 Door opening alarm: Triggers an alarm and siren when the door is opened while armed.
- 8.5.2 ACC alarm: Triggers an alarm and siren when the vehicle ignition is switched ON or the vehicle starts while armed.
- 8.5.3 Shock alarm: Triggers an alarm when the device moves or vibrates while armed. The siren beeps for specified durations based on the frequency of shocks. Vibration sensitivity can be adjusted (levels 1, 2, or 3).
8.6 Other Alarm functions
- 8.6.1 Low battery alarm: Sends an alert when the battery voltage drops below approximately 3.55V.
- 8.6.2 Extpower disconnection alarm: Triggers an alarm when the external power supply is disconnected.
- 8.6.3 SOS alarm: Pressing the SOS button for 3 seconds triggers an emergency alarm.
- 8.6.4 Geo-fence: Triggers an alarm when the device enters or leaves a predefined geographical area (geo-fence).
- 8.6.5 Movement alarm: Triggers an alarm when the device moves beyond a set radius from its current location.
- 8.6.6 Over speed alarm: Triggers an alarm when the device's speed exceeds a set threshold.
- 8.6.7 Fuel alarm: Triggers an alarm if fuel consumption is abnormal (leakage or stealing) or exceeds normal standards. The siren will beep for 20 seconds. Calibration for fuel level is available.
8.7 Listen
Allows listening for 15 seconds per request.
8.8 Bluetooth configuration parameters
Access the Bluetooth configuration interface via the app to modify device parameters, including APN settings, IP/DNS, TCP/UDP, GPRS/SMS mode, positioning strategy, time zone, and SMS password/authorization number.

8.9 Other function settings
Control the device to stop alarming, check SIM card balance, update firmware, reset the device, restore factory settings, set shock sensitivity, authorization number, alarm times, time zone, external power on/off, tamper alarm, vibration alarm, vibration sensitivity, smart angle updating, tracker password, check device details, operation records, and installation information.
9 Bluetooth automatic arm/disarm
Pair the device with your phone via Bluetooth (named "Bn403"). The terminal automatically arms when you are far away and disconnects, and disarms when you are close and connect. This feature may be overridden by other control methods.

Note: If using the mobile APP or web version, this section may not require attention.
11 SMS Functions
The device defaults to GPRS & SMS mode. For SMS-only management, turn off GPRS (refer to section 11.21). Pay attention to the format of SMS commands, using "+" for concatenating words and "space" for separating parameters.
11.1 Changing password
SMS command: password+old password+space+new password

11.2 Authorization

The first number called 10 times in succession is automatically authorized. Up to 5 numbers can be authorized to receive alarm messages.
11.3 Single Tracking
SMS command: position+password
. The tracker replies with location information and a link. Alternatively, call the tracker; it will hang up and reply with a positioning message. If no numbers are authorized, it replies to all calls. If numbers are authorized, it only responds to authorized numbers.
11.4 Positioning strategy
11.4.1 Working mode
- Real time online:
online+password
. GSM is always online; location can be queried anytime. Reports location at set intervals regardless of movement. - Smart mode:
sleep+password
. Device sleeps when stationary (cannot be contacted by call/SMS, but SOS/shock alarms can trigger it). It wakes up when moving. Reports position at set intervals whether stationary or moving.
11.4.2 Positioning interval

(reports every 20s when moving, every 2h when stopped, limited to 5 times). Cancel: nofix+password

11.5 Remote immobilizing

11.7 Alarm function in arming state
- 11.7.1 Door Opening Alarm: Sends SMS notification "Door alarm+latitude & longitude" and triggers siren.
- 11.7.2 ACC Alarm: Sends SMS notification "ACC alarm + latitude / longitude" and triggers siren when ignition is ON.
- 11.7.3 Shock Alarm: Sends SMS notification "Sensor alarm + latitude and longitude". Siren beeps for 5 or 10 seconds. Vibration sensitivity adjustable (1, 2, or 3). Command:

11.8 Other alarms

Set the number of times for various alarms (SOS, external power, fuel, door open, ACC). Command: xtime+password+times value

Switch to listening mode with listen+password

11.12 SIM Card Balance Enquiry

11.13 Check status

13 Cautions
Please follow these guidelines when using the tracker:
- Keep the tracker in a dry environment; humidity can damage internal circuits.
- Do not place it in a dusty environment.
- Avoid placing the tracker in overheated or overcooled locations.
- Handle carefully; do not vibrate or shake it violently.
- Clean with a dry cloth only; do not use chemicals or detergents.
- Do not disassemble the device, as this may lead to internal circuit failure.
- Read the user manual carefully before installation and operation, and understand the voltage range. Incorrect usage may lead to malfunction or damage.
14 Troubleshooting
