Appearance
The camera features several key components:
- LED indicator: Provides status information.

Reset Button: Hold down the Reset button for about 5 seconds and release it when the LED indicator blinks blue quickly or a prompt tone is heard to reset the camera.
Add the Camera to TDSEE App
[info] Before adding your camera, ensure your router is connected to the internet and the Wi-Fi filter function is disabled.
- Download the TDSEE App onto your mobile device by searching for "TDSEE" in the Google Play or App Store, or by scanning the [QR code].
- Power on the camera. The LED indicator will turn solid red, then blink blue quickly, indicating it's ready to connect to a 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi network.
- Run the TDSEE App and follow the on-screen instructions to complete user registration.
- On the app's home page, tap "Add a device" or the "+" icon in the upper right corner.
- Scan the [QR code] on the camera's body and follow the instructions within the App to complete the setup.
Install the Device
The camera supports both ceiling and wall installation.
Camera Installation
[info] Please ensure the mounting surface (e.g., ceiling) is strong enough to support at least three times the weight of the camera.
You may need tools such as a hammer drill, a drill bit, a rubber hammer, a screwdriver, and a ladder for installation.
Wall Installation
Follow these steps for wall mounting:
- Place the installation template at the desired location.
- Drill screw holes using a drill bit (diameter: 6 mm) to a depth of 28-32 mm.
- Insert anchors into the drilled holes.
- Fix the camera to the wall using the provided screws.
Ceiling Installation
Follow these steps for ceiling mounting:
- Place the installation template at the desired location on the ceiling.
- Drill screw holes using a drill bit (diameter: 6 mm) to a depth of 28-32 mm.
- Insert anchors into the drilled holes.
- Fix the camera to the ceiling using the provided screws.
Power On the Camera
Connect the power adapter to the camera's power port.
Adjust the Monitoring Angle
Loosen the orientation knob to adjust the camera's viewing angle (0-90° vertically, 0-360° horizontally) for the best view. Once positioned, tighten the knob to secure the angle.
Install Waterproof Kit
Install the waterproof kit for the Ethernet port if the camera is installed outdoors.
[info] The included waterproof kit is not suitable for Ethernet cables with a protection cover on the crystal head.
When connecting an Ethernet cable, follow these waterproof installation steps:
- Place the O-ring onto the Ethernet port of the camera.
- Thread the Ethernet cable through the fix nut, the waterproof ring, and the waterproof jacket in the correct order. Then, connect the cable to the camera's Ethernet port.
- Rotate the waterproof jacket to secure it to the Ethernet port. Insert the waterproof ring into the waterproof jacket and then fasten the fix nut by rotating it clockwise.
FAQ (Frequently Asked Questions)
Q1. What should I do if I failed to add the camera?
A1. Try the following solutions:
- Ensure your router is successfully connected to the internet.
- The camera supports only 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi networks. Connect your smartphone to a 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi network when adding the camera.
- Do not hide your router's Wi-Fi network name (SSID) when adding the camera. You can hide it after successful setup.
- Confirm if the camera's LED indicator blinks blue quickly. If not, reset the camera and configure it again using the reset method (hold the Reset button for about 5 seconds until the LED blinks blue quickly or a prompt tone is heard).
Q2. What should I do when the video preview is not smooth?
A2. Try the following solutions:
- Check if your router's internet connection is stable.
- Place the router closer to the camera and adjust the camera's antenna angle.
- If previewing video using cellular mobile data, ensure your smartphone's internet connection is smooth.
- The camera supports Auto, Fluent, and HD video clarity modes. Switch the video clarity according to your internet status.
Q3. How to store the video?
A3. You can store video using two methods:
- Method 1: Micro SD Card: Install a Micro SD card into the camera. The card supports Alarm Recording and All Day Recording. By default, the recording mode is Alarm Recording, which can be changed in the TDSEE App settings (Settings → SD Card Recording Settings).
- Method 2: Cloud Storage Service: Subscribe to the Cloud Storage Service on the TDSEE App. Upon first activation, you can enjoy 3 months of free cloud storage service (7-days continuous detection recording). Access this via the app's home page, select the camera, then tap "Cloud" in the lower left corner.
Q4. How to get full-color monitoring video day and night?
A4. Set the camera's Night Vision Mode to "Full-color Mode". Access this setting in the TDSEE App (Settings → Night Vision Mode).
