Adjusting Camera Orientation
After ceiling installation, if the camera is mounted upside down, adjust its orientation in the TDSEE App. Navigate to Settings > Video Flip-over and select "Camera UP-side Down".
Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
Q1. What should I do if I fail to add the camera?
A1. Try these solutions:
- Ensure your router is connected to the internet.
- The camera only supports 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi networks. Connect your smartphone to a 2.4 GHz network during setup.
- Do not hide your router's Wi-Fi network name (SSID) during the initial setup. You can hide it later after successful connection.
- Verify the camera's LED indicator is blinking blue quickly. If not, reset the camera (hold the reset button for 5 seconds until the LED blinks blue quickly or a prompt tone is heard) and try again.
Q2. What should I do if the video preview is not smooth?
A2. Try these solutions:
- Check your router's Wi-Fi network stability.
- Move the router closer to the camera.
- If previewing via cellular data, ensure your smartphone has a stable internet connection.
- Adjust video clarity in the app (Auto, Fluent, HD) based on your internet status.
Q3. How can I store video recordings?
A3. You have two options:
- Micro SD Card: Install a Micro SD card into the camera. The default recording mode is "Alarm Recording," which can be changed to "All-day Recording" via the TDSEE App (Settings > Recording Settings).
