The StarTech.com SDOCK4U313 is a 4-bay SATA HDD docking station that allows simultaneous access to up to four 2.5" or 3.5" Solid State Drives or Hard Drives via USB 10Gbps. It supports easy drive swapping using Hot Swap functionality, making it ideal for IT Professionals. The station facilitates large data volumes and fast file transfers, aiding in efficient workflow management. It offers quick drive docking and swapping for tasks such as cloning drives, data recovery from failed drives, or data backup.
The docking station supports SMART (Self-Monitoring, Analysis and Reporting Technology) for accessing drive information like operating hours, power cycle counts, and drive status. Leveraging USB 3.2 Gen 2, it enables users to utilize the performance of the latest SSDs and hard drives while reducing data transfer bottlenecks.
The drive docking station includes a USB Type-C cable for connecting to USB-C equipped notebooks and devices, and a USB Type-A cable for backward compatibility with existing USB 3.0, 2.0, and 1.x devices. With compatible StarTech.com adapters, the docking station also supports 2.5-inch and 3.5-inch IDE hard drives, mSATA drives, and SATA M.2 drives.
