The SATDOCKU3E USB 3.0/eSATA to SATA Hard Drive Docking Station provides easy and fast access to a 2.5-inch or 3.5-inch SATA HDD or SSD via an eSATA or USB connection, making it compatible with most computer systems. The docking station supports high-capacity drives (tested with 3.5" drives up to 4TB and 2.5" drives up to 1TB), significantly expanding computer storage and backup capabilities. It offers eSATA or USB 3.0 host connections (3 Gbps and 5 Gbps bandwidth, respectively) and is compatible with USB 2.0 connections (up to 480 Mbps) to the host computer. For simplified installation and drive insertion/removal, the SATDOCKU3E features a convenient top-loading slot. Enhance its versatility with the optional SATA to IDE Hard Drive Adapter (SAT2IDEADP) to easily accommodate 2.5-inch or 3.5-inch IDE drives. To ensure compatibility, the SATDOCKU3E supports common operating systems, including: Microsoft Windows® (8/7/Vista/XP/Server 2008/Server 2003), Apple® OSX (10.9/10.8/10.7/10.6), Linux, and Google Chrome OS™.
