What's in the Box

Bluetooth Pairing
To pair your device with the JBL Charge 6:
- Turn on the speaker.
- On your device, go to Bluetooth settings.
- Select 'JBL Charge 6' from the list of available devices.
- The speaker will connect and indicate it's discoverable.
Play
Once paired, you can play music from your device. The speaker supports standard audio playback controls.
Multi-Speaker Connection
Connect multiple JBL speakers for an enhanced audio experience. Use the JBL Portable app for speaker configuration and software upgrades.
App Usage
Download the JBL Portable app to manage your speaker settings and update its software. The app is available for both iOS and Android devices.
Charging
Connect the USB-C cable to the speaker and a power source. The speaker can also function as a power bank to charge other devices.
Charging Time: Approximately 3 hours (using a 12-20V / 3A charger).
Music Playtime: Up to 24 hours (may vary based on volume and audio content).
Detachable Handle Strap
The speaker comes with a detachable handle strap for easy portability.
Waterproof & Dustproof IP68
The JBL Charge 6 is rated IP68, meaning it is waterproof and dustproof. However, it is important to follow precautions:
- Do not charge the speaker while it is wet, as this can cause permanent damage.
- Ensure the speaker is completely dry and clean before charging after exposure to liquids, salt water, or chemicals.
- Rinse off any pool chemicals or salt water after use to prevent damage to seals and connectors.

Important Safety Information
To protect battery lifespan, fully charge at least once every 3 months. Battery life will vary due to usage patterns and environmental conditions.
Do not expose the JBL Charge 6 to liquids without removing the cable connection. Do not expose the JBL Charge 6 to water while charging. It may result in permanent damage to the speaker or power source.
Chemicals and salt in your pool or the ocean can damage the waterproof seals or harm the connector surface over time if not rinsed off after use. After a liquid spill or rinse, do not charge your speaker until it’s completely dry and clean. Charging when wet might damage your speaker.
Factory Reset
To restore factory settings, hold the ‘ ’ and ‘+’ buttons for more than 2 seconds.
Charger Power Requirement
The power delivered by the charger must be between a minimum of 7.5 Watts (required by the radio equipment) and a maximum of 60 Watts to achieve the maximum charging speed.
