Product Overview
Description of the NUX NDM-3 Dynamic Microphone:
- Microphone Headbasket Grill: The protective grille covering the microphone capsule.
- ON/OFF Switch: A toggle switch located on the microphone body to turn the device on or off.
- XLR OUTPUT: The standard 3-pin XLR connector for audio output.
Frequency Response
The frequency response curve illustrates the microphone's sensitivity across a range of audio frequencies. The horizontal axis represents frequency in Hertz (Hz), from 50Hz to 20kHz. The vertical axis shows sensitivity in dB/Pa. The curve indicates that the NDM-3 has a generally flat response with a slight boost in the mid-high frequencies, peaking around 5kHz, and another rise towards 15kHz. Lines are shown for 500Hz and 6400Hz reference points.

Polar Pattern
The polar pattern diagram shows the directional sensitivity of the NUX NDM-3 microphone. It illustrates how the microphone picks up sound from different angles around its capsule. The pattern is cardioid, meaning it is most sensitive to sound originating from the front (0 degrees) and progressively less sensitive to sounds coming from the sides (90 and 270 degrees) and the rear (180 degrees).
