If the doorbell is not working, consider the following:
- Ensure the receiver is paired with the transmitter. Refer to the pairing steps.
- Verify that the AC receiver is switched on at the mains.
- Check for potential sources of electrical interference near the transmitter or receiver, such as power adapters or other wireless devices.
- Obstacles like walls can reduce the range. This should have been considered during setup.
- Ensure no metal objects are placed between the transmitter and receiver. Repositioning may be necessary.
Cautions
- The doorbell receiver is intended for indoor use only. Do not expose it to moisture or use it outdoors.
- Avoid placing the transmitter in direct sunlight or rain.
- Use only high-quality batteries for the transmitter.
