Common Problems
Fail to pair Wi-Fi devices to eWeLink APP
- Make sure the device is in pairing mode. After three minutes of unsuccessful pairing, the device will automatically exit pairing mode.
- Please turn on location services and allow location permission. Location services and permission are required to obtain Wi-Fi list information. Disabling them will prevent device addition.
- Ensure your Wi-Fi network operates on the 2.4GHz band.
- Verify you have entered the correct Wi-Fi SSID and password, without special characters. An incorrect password is a common cause of pairing failure.
- Ensure the device is close to the router for a strong transmission signal during pairing.
Wi-Fi devices "Offline" issue
Check the following based on the Wi-Fi LED indicator status:
The LED indicator blinking once every 2s indicates failure to connect to the router.
- Check if the Wi-Fi SSID and password were entered correctly.
- Ensure your Wi-Fi SSID and password do not contain special characters (e.g., Hebrew, Arabic characters), as the system may not recognize them, leading to connection failure.
- Your router might have a low carrying capacity.
- The Wi-Fi signal strength might be weak due to the router being too far from the device, or obstructions between the router and device blocking signal transmission.
- Confirm that the device's MAC address is not on the router's MAC management blacklist.
Fail to connect to the server
The LED indicator flashing twice repeatedly means failure to connect to the server.
- Verify your internet connection is working. You can test this with your phone or PC. If access fails, check the internet connection's availability.
- Your router might have a low carrying capacity, with the number of connected devices exceeding its maximum limit. Confirm your router's device limit and remove some devices or acquire a larger router if necessary.
- Contact your ISP to confirm that our server addresses are not shielded:
cn-disp.coolkit.cc
(China Mainland)as-disp.coolkit.cc
(Asia except China)eu-disp.coolkit.cc
(EU)us-disp.coolkit.cc

If the above methods do not resolve the issue, please submit a request via "Help & Feedback" on the eWeLink APP.
