Installation Guide
Preparation for Installation
- Remove and organize parts from the pack.
- Inspect the existing mounting location for damage and ensure the structure can support the fixture's weight.
- Remove the fixture from packaging and inspect for any damages. Handle with care.
- Ensure no wires are pinched or caught outside the fixture housing after installation.
Installation Methods
This fixture can be installed via suspended mounting (using V-hangers and chain, aircraft cable, or Pendant Monopoint Mount) or surface mounting (using an optional Surface Mount Bracket).
Note: Provide suitable hardware rated for the fixture's weight (7 lbs) and compliant with local codes.
WARNING: Turn off power at the fuse or circuit breaker box before wiring.
Suspended Installation (Standard Method)
- Attach the provided chain to each V-hanger.
- Hook the V-hanger onto the fixture housing holes (See Figure 2).
- Secure the other end of the chain to the structure using appropriate hardware.
Ensure wiring hangers are fully engaged. If using "S" hooks, crimp loops closed.
Surface Mount Installation (Requires Surface Mount Bracket - THUN, sold separately)
- Attach the THUN bracket(s) to the structure using rated hardware.
- Support the fixture and snap the housing into the THUN bracket(s). Ensure it is balanced.
- Install the supplied nut and lock-washer, tightening securely to fix the bracket around the center channel (See Figure 4).
Pendant Monopoint Mount (PMP) Installation (Requires PMP Bracket)
- Attach the PMP Hub to the pendant/conduit (not supplied) using the 3/4"-14 NPT THREAD HUB and Nut.
- Support the fixture and snap the housing into the PMP bracket. Ensure it is balanced.
- Install the supplied nut and lock-washer, tightening securely to fix the PMP bracket around the center channel (See Figure 5).
- Connect the supplied flex conduit between the access plate KO and PMP bracket KO. Connect fixture input leads to one side of the conduit inside the fixture. Connect power supply wires to the other side of the conduit in the PMP bracket.
- Make necessary electrical connections. Supply wire must be rated for 90°C and meet applicable codes. Pink and purple leads are for 0-10V dimming.
- Attach PMP Bracket sides with screws (See Figure 5), ensuring wires are not pinched.
CCT/ALO Selection (If Equipped)
Locate the CCT (Correlated Color Temperature) and ALO (Adjustable Lumen Output) switches on the fixture housing (See Figure 6). Default settings are typically 5000K and maximum light output. Slide the switch to select the desired CCT and light output.
Supply Wire Connections
Make all supply wire connections in accordance with local electrical codes.
- Remove the access plate screw and then the access plate from the Fixture Housing. Input wires from the driver will be attached to the plate.
- Remove necessary knockout(s) from the Access Plate.
- Secure incoming power supply to the access plate with a UL Listed connector. Use only UL listed supply wire (90°C or greater).
- Connect wires:
- Bare copper or green supply wire to the green fixture wire.
- Black supply wire to the black fixture wire.
- White supply wire to the white fixture wire.
- Use UL Listed wire nuts (rated 90°C or greater) for connections.
- Cap purple and pink 0-10V dimming leads when not in use.
- Reinstall the access plate and secure it with the screw.
Troubleshooting Guide
If the fixture fails to operate properly, follow these steps:
- Verify that the fixture is wired correctly.
- Verify that the fixture is grounded correctly.
