Installation Guide
Step 1: Prepare Ceiling Opening
Cut a hole in the ceiling with a diameter of 80mm. Ensure a minimum recess depth of 55mm and a minimum ceiling thickness of 50mm.
Step 2: Electrical Connections
Connect the power supply (230V IN) to the luminaire's input terminals. The output terminals (230V OUT) are for connecting subsequent luminaires in series. Ensure correct IP rating is maintained for the connection type (IP44 for damp locations, IP20 for dry locations).
Step 3: Insert Luminaire
Carefully insert the luminaire into the prepared ceiling opening.
Step 4: Secure Luminaire
Secure the luminaire in place using the provided mounting clips or mechanism.
Step 5: Attach Decorative Elements
Attach any decorative rings or trim pieces as required.
3-Step Dimming
This luminaire features a 3-step dimming function controlled by the light switch. Cycle the switch ON/OFF within 1 to 5 seconds to select brightness levels:
- First switch ON: 100% Brightness
- Switch OFF then ON (1-5s): 50% Brightness
- Switch OFF then ON (1-5s): 25% Brightness
Component Replaceability
The following applies to the light source and operating device:
- End-User Replaceable: The light source (1) or operating device (4) can be replaced by the end-user without causing permanent damage to the luminaire.
- Electrician Replaceable: The light source (2) or operating device (5) can be replaced by a qualified electrician without causing permanent damage to the luminaire.
- Not Replaceable: The light source (3) or operating device (6) cannot be replaced. The entire luminaire must be replaced.
Disposal Information
Old electrical equipment (Altgeräte) must not be disposed of in household waste. They can be handed in at public collection points operated by waste disposal companies. Batteries and rechargeable batteries, as well as lamps that can be removed from the old equipment without destruction, must be separated from the old equipment before handover to a collection point. Retailers are obligated to take back this product free of charge under § 17 paragraphs 1 and 2 of the ElektroG. End-users of old equipment are responsible for deleting personal data on the old equipment to be disposed of.
