Check if the camera turns On and Off properly by supplying power to the dashcam with the included cigarette power cable in your car.
The dashcam will power on and start recording automatically when power is supplied to the USB port (when the ignition is turned on). It will stop recording and turn off automatically when the power is cut (when the ignition is turned off).
6. Connecting with the App
This dashcam has the option to connect to your Android Phone or iPhone to instantly view and download recorded videos, and to change settings. The dashcam broadcasts a WiFi network named "AZDOME" for the app to connect to the camera.
The app is available for free in the App Store and Google Play store.

If the camera is unresponsive or resetting doesn't help, updating the firmware can be useful. The latest version is available from https://www.azdome.hk/downloads.html.
To update the firmware, follow these steps:
- Put an empty Micro SD card in your PC and remove all files and folders.
- Download the latest firmware, ensuring you select the correct model.
- Place the downloaded file (all files) on the root of the Micro SD card.
- Turn off the dashcam and insert the Micro SD card.
- Press the WiFi button, then power on the dashcam. When the red indicator flashes, release your finger; the dashcam will update automatically.
The dashcam will update the firmware automatically, which may take a few minutes. Do not turn off the power during the update process, as it may interfere with it.
9. GPS Player
This dashcam has a GPS receiver that stores GPS data in every video file. Using the GPS receiver, the location of every video is recorded, and the current speed is shown in the video. AZDOME's GPS player allows videos to be viewed alongside GPS locations on Google Maps. G-sensor activity is also shown in the lower part of the player.
AZDOME's GPS player is available for Mac and Windows. Download it from www.azdome.hk.
GPS Player Interface Description: The player interface shows a map view (e.g., Google Maps), video playback controls, speed indicator, and G-sensor activity graph. It displays file name, duration, create date, size, and resolution.
