Weather Station Appearance

The weather station features a large LCD display showing various information. The top section displays "REMOTE SENSOR" and "INDOOR SENSOR" with their respective temperatures and humidity levels. The "REMOTE SENSOR" displays temperature in °F and humidity in %RH. The "INDOOR SENSOR" also displays temperature in °F and humidity in %RH. Between these are icons for weather forecast (sun, clouds, rain) and a "TREND" indicator. Below the sensor readings are the time and calendar/alarm time, barometric pressure (in inHg), and a moon phase indicator. The display also includes comfort level indicators.

The side of the weather station has several buttons: a touch-sensitive field labeled "[sun-moon-icon]" (likely for backlight/snooze), "SET", "ALARM", "UP", "DOWN", "ALERT", and "MEMORY". There is also an alarm on/off shift switch and a battery compartment. A power supply socket is located on the back.

  3. Upon battery insertion, the LCD display will briefly light up for 3 seconds, accompanied by a beep tone, and indoor temperature & humidity will be detected.
  4. The weather station will begin connecting to the remote sensor. This process takes about 3 minutes, indicated by a flashing RF antenna symbol in the "REMOTE SENSOR" display area.
  5. Replace the wireless remote sensor battery compartment cover and the weather station battery compartment cover. Insert 2 x AA batteries into the remote sensor, observing polarity.
  6. Once a connection is established, the weather station enters Radio Control (RC) time receive mode.

Reception of the Radio Signal (WWVB)

The clock automatically starts searching for the WWVB signal 7 minutes after a restart or battery change. The radio mast icon [radio-signal-icon] will flash.

Synchronization attempts occur automatically at 1:00, 2:00, and 3:00 AM to correct time deviations. If an attempt fails (radio mast icon disappears), another attempt will be made the following hour, repeating up to 5 times.

To manually start WWVB signal reception, press and hold the "UP" button for two seconds. If no signal is received within 7 minutes, the search stops (radio mast icon disappears) and resumes the next hour.

During RC reception, pressing the "UP" button once stops the signal search.
