  2. Plug in the power cord. Press the ON/OFF button; the power indicator will turn red. The default setting is Making Espresso. (Skip if already operated.)
  3. Place a cup on the drip tray. Press the Making Espresso button; the indicator will turn green, and espresso will flow out.
  4. Wait for water to flow from the coffee outlet. After about 1 minute, press the Making Espresso button to stop. Discard the water.

TIPS: Initial noise during water pumping is normal as the appliance releases air. The noise should disappear after about 20 seconds.

Use Guide 1: Froth Milk Alone

TIPS BEFORE OPERATION:

START TO OPERATE:

  1. Fill the water tank to the MAX line. Set up the water tank vertically, align the buckles to the hole on the back of the machine, and press it down. (Skip if already operated.)
NOTE: Water may flow from the outlet at the bottom of the water tank when it's pulled up. Wipe immediately to prevent accumulation.
  2. Plug in the power cord. Press the ON/OFF button; the power indicator will turn red. The default setting is Making Espresso. (Skip if already operated.)
  3. Press the Milk Frothing button. Wait until the thermometer pointer reaches the milk frothing area and the "♨️" indicator is green. (Do not skip to step 4 before this indicator is green.)
TIPS: For better taste, release water in the boiler before frothing. When the "♨️" indicator is green, place a cup under the froth nozzle, turn the knob to the steam icon. Wait for steam, then discard the hot water.
  4. Prepare about 100ml of milk in a pitcher. Insert the frothing nozzle 1-2cm into the milk. Slowly turn the steam control knob to control steam quantity. The working "⚙️" indicator will turn green.
  5. Froth milk by moving the vessel in a circular motion. When the milk volume doubles or the desired texture is reached, turn the knob back to the "O" position to stop. Remove the pitcher.

NOTE: If noise or weak steam occurs during frothing, check the water level in the tank. Add water if needed.

TIPS For How to Continue Frothing:

Use Guide 2: Make Espresso After Milk Frothing (For Latte)

  1. After frothing milk (Use Guide 1), proceed to make espresso.
  2. Reset the Milk Frothing button. Press the Making Espresso button to pump water into the boiler, cooling it down.
  3. Wait about 2 minutes for the Milk Frothing indicator to extinguish, leaving the Making Espresso indicator on. (Alternatively, follow "USE GUIDE 3" steps 3-4-5-6-7-8 for a quicker espresso.)
  4. Hold a cup under the froth nozzle. Slowly turn the steam control knob to release steam until the Milk Frothing indicator is extinguished.
  5. Reset the Making Espresso button and turn the steam control knob to "O". Discard the water from the cup. You can now make espresso by following "USE GUIDE 3" steps 3-4-5-6-7-8.
  6. Pour the frothed milk into the espresso. Enjoy your Latte.

Use Guide 3: Make Espresso Alone

TIPS BEFORE OPERATION:

START TO OPERATE:

  1. Fill the water tank to the MAX line. Set up the water tank vertically, align the buckles to the hole on the back of the machine, and press it down. (Skip if already operated.)
NOTE: Water may flow from the outlet at the bottom of the water tank when it's pulled up. Wipe immediately to prevent accumulation.
  2. Plug in the power cord. Press the ON/OFF button; the power indicator will turn red. The default setting is Making Espresso. (Skip if already operated.)
  3. Place a 2-cup mesh inside the portafilter, aligning the tube with the portafilter groove. For optimal flavor, use 7g of coffee powder per cup. Tamp the powder below the MAX line to avoid leaking. Do not tamp too firmly, or coffee may not flow smoothly.
  4. Align the portafilter with the machine and install it from "Insert" to "Lock". Otherwise, coffee may splash or leak.
  5. The thermometer pointer should be towards the espresso area, and the "♨️" indicator should be illuminated, showing heating is finished. Never skip to step 6 before this indicator is green, as temperature affects coffee taste.
  6. Press the Making Espresso button; the "♨️" indicator will turn green. Espresso will flow out. (For best flavor, each cup should be no more than 30ml.)

NOTE:

CONTINUED OPERATION:

  1. Once the desired amount of espresso is reached, press the Making Espresso button again to stop brewing. Remove the cup.
  2. If espresso drips slowly or not smoothly, check the water tank level and add water if needed. Also, check if the coffee powder is tamped too firmly.
  3. Remove the portafilter after a while to relieve pressure and prevent steam splash. Remove it in parallel. High pressure allows water to penetrate the coffee powder, so some excess coffee may drip off.

Use Guide 4: Froth Milk After Making Espresso (For Cappuccino)

  1. After making espresso (Use Guide 3), you can proceed to froth milk.
  2. Press the Milk Frothing button. Wait until the thermometer pointer reaches the milk frothing area and the "♨️" indicator is green. (Do not skip to step 3 before this indicator is green.)
TIPS: For better taste, release water in the boiler before frothing. When the "♨️" indicator is green, place a cup under the froth nozzle, turn the knob to the steam icon. Wait for steam, then discard the hot water.
  3. Prepare about 100ml of milk in a pitcher. Insert the frothing nozzle 1-2cm into the milk. Slowly turn the steam control knob to control steam quantity. The working "⚙️" indicator will turn green.

5. Pour the frothed milk into the espresso. Enjoy your Cappuccino.

Tips: Clean and Maintenance

How To Clean The Steam Nozzle

(Please mind the hot water and operate carefully)

  1. To avoid blocking the froth nozzle, clean it immediately after frothing milk. Press the MILK FROTHING button and wait for the steam indicator to illuminate.
  2. Slowly turn on the steam control knob. If steam is weak, check if the froth nozzle hole is blocked. If not cleaned promptly, it can produce a bad smell. Use a cleaning pin to clean and unblock the steam pipeline.
  3. Press and hold the froth wand, pull out the stainless sleeve, and clean the nozzle with a wet sponge.

How To Clean The Seal Ring

(Please mind the hot water and operate carefully)

NOTE: The seal ring prevents leaks. If blocked by coffee powder, espresso may leak or splash. For hygiene, clean it immediately with hot water from the brewing function. Failure to clean can cause a bad smell.

  1. Uninstall the portafilter from the coffee outlet (from "Lock" to "Insert"), put it down, and discard the coffee powder.
  2. Press the Making Espresso button; the "♨️" indicator will illuminate. Water will come out and flush the coffee powder inside.
  3. Press the Making Espresso button again to stop brewing. Rinse the seal ring with a cloth.

Cleaning Mineral Deposits

  1. To ensure efficient operation and optimal coffee flavor, clean mineral deposits every 2-3 months.
  2. Fill the water tank with water and descaler in a 4:1 ratio. Use a "household descaler" or citric acid (one hundred parts water to three parts citric acid).
  3. Place the portafilter (without coffee powder) and a jug in position.
  4. Press the ON/OFF button; the power indicator will illuminate. Press the Making Espresso button; the Espresso Working indicator will turn green. Ensure the steam control knob is at "0". When water flows out, press the Making Espresso button to stop pumping. Wait for the coffee maker to preheat.
  5. When the Making Espresso indicator is illuminated, preheating is finished. Press the Making Espresso button; the Espresso Working indicator will turn green. Brew two cups of coffee (approx. 20oz), then press the Making Espresso button to stop pumping. The Espresso Working indicator will extinguish.
  6. Press the Milk Frothing button; the Making Espresso indicator will extinguish. Wait for the Milk Frothing indicator to illuminate. Make steam for 2 minutes by turning the steam control knob, then turn it to "O" to stop. Press the ON/OFF button to turn off the appliance. Let the descaler sit for at least 15 minutes.
  7. Press the ON/OFF button to restart. Wait for the Making Espresso indicator to illuminate, then press the Making Espresso button to brew until no descaler remains.
  8. Brew with tap water filled to the MAX level. Repeat steps 4-6 three times, then brew until the water tank is empty.
