Kingston Limited Warranty Agreement

Introduction

All Kingston warranty information is presented below. You can access the desired section by selecting a topic from the list below:

Kingston warrants to the end-user that its products will be free from defects in materials and workmanship, subject to the general conditions presented herein. Subject to the conditions and restrictions presented below, Kingston will, at its sole discretion, replace or repair any part of its products that proves to be defective due to a defect in workmanship or materials. Repaired parts or replacement products will be supplied by Kingston and will be either new or refurbished. All refurbished products are tested to ensure they are functionally equivalent to new products. If Kingston cannot repair or replace a product, the customer will receive a credit or payment equal to the purchase price or the product's value at the time of the warranty service request, whichever is lower. Proof of purchase indicating the original date and place of purchase, as well as the product description and price, must be provided.

This limited warranty does not cover damage caused to the product resulting from (a) incorrect installation, accident, abuse, misuse, natural disaster, insufficient or excessive power supply, abnormal mechanical or environmental conditions, (b) cosmetic damage, including but not limited to scratches, dents, and cracks on touch screens or casings, or (c) any unauthorized disassembly, repair, or modification. This limited warranty does not apply if: (i) the product was not used in accordance with the enclosed instructions, or (ii) the product was not used for its intended purpose.

This limited warranty does not apply to a product whose original identification information has been altered, erased, or removed, which has been handled or packaged incorrectly, which has been sold as a used product, or which has been resold in violation of U.S. and other applicable export regulations.

For IronKey™ USB drives, compatibility information is on the product's technical sheet published on the website www.kingston.com. Kingston does not warrant that the IronKey™ software will be compatible with future hardware or operating system modifications or upgrades.

This limited warranty covers only the repair, replacement, or refund of defective Kingston products as described below, or entitles to a credit. Kingston cannot be held responsible for, and disclaims all applicable warranties for, damages or losses of any type that may result from the loss, deterioration, corruption of content or data, nor for costs associated with identifying the causes of system problems, or for the uninstallation, maintenance, or installation of Kingston products. This warranty excludes third-party software, connected equipment, or stored data. Kingston therefore cannot be held responsible for any direct or indirect loss or damage attributable to third-party software, connected equipment, or stored data. In case of a claim, Kingston's sole and exclusive obligation will be to repair or replace the hardware or issue a refund, at Kingston's sole discretion.

Warranty Duration

Product Lifetime Warranty:**

The following Kingston products are covered by this warranty for their lifetime:

Memory Modules:

Flash Memory Cards:

**Product lifetime is defined as the expected normal usage period for that type of product. However, lifetime warranty may have a definition that varies by country. For Russia, lifetime warranty is defined as a period of ten (10) years from the date of original purchase by the end-user.

Five-Year Limited Warranty:

This warranty covers the following Kingston products for five years from the date of original purchase by the end-user, unless otherwise indicated below:

The warranty for Kingston Design-In DRAM modules is five (5) years from the date of purchase by the original Design-In customer. Kingston Design-In DRAM modules are manufactured to customer specifications, with commercial temperature grade semiconductor components. They are not intended for use in enterprise/server platforms or in environments exceeding this temperature standard. The use of these modules under these conditions is not covered by the product warranty. Furthermore, Kingston provides warranty service only to original customers who integrate Kingston Design-In DRAM modules into their devices. All downstream end-user services and support must be handled by the original Design-In customer.

For NVMe SSDs, a new, unused product has a Usage Percentage equal to zero (0), while a product that has reached its warranty limit will have a Usage Percentage equal to or greater than one hundred (100).
