Important Information for Preventing Image Retention
OLED pixels emit their own light, offering perfect blacks and clear images. While image retention is uncommon in normal use, it can occur if static images are displayed for extended periods. Features like OLED Screen Move, OLED Screen Saver, and OLED Image Cleaning are built-in to protect the screen. Examples of static images include desktop icons, fixed menus, or broadcast logos. It is recommended to use the OLED protection features found in the [General] settings.
Safety Precautions for Prolonged Use
Due to the nature of OLED panels, brightness may permanently decrease with prolonged use. Avoid operating the monitor in high temperatures, high humidity, or with prolonged static images or high luminance, as this may lead to afterimages, image blurring, or screen malfunction.
