Safety Measures

General Precautions

Read the instructions in this manual carefully before using the unit.

Keep this manual in an easily accessible place for the operator.

This appliance is intended for use by specialized or trained users in shops, light industry, and agricultural operations, or for commercial use by non-specialized persons.

Precautions are classified into DANGER, WARNING, and CAUTION. Pay close attention to all safety instructions.

DANGER ⚠️

Do not attempt to install or repair the unit yourself. You risk exposure to dangerous voltages. Entrust these operations to your dealer or a specialist.

Power disconnection does not eliminate the risk of electric shock.

The unit must be installed in accordance with national wiring regulations.

You must incorporate a device into the fixed wiring that disconnects the power, with contacts separated by at least 3 mm on all poles.

The unit must be stored in a room without continuous ignition sources (e.g., open flames, gas appliances in operation, or electric heaters in operation).

To prevent fire, explosion, or injury, do not operate the unit if dangerous gases (e.g., flammable or corrosive gases) are detected nearby.

WARNING ⚠️

Avoid prolonged direct exposure of your body to cold or warm air.

Do not insert fingers or other objects into the air inlet/outlet.

In case of abnormality (burning smell, etc.), stop the air conditioner and disconnect the power or turn off the circuit breaker.

This appliance can be used by children aged 8 years and above and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge, if supervised or trained in the safe use of the appliance and understanding the risks involved. Cleaning and user maintenance must not be carried out by children without supervision.

This appliance must not be used by persons (including children) with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless supervised or trained in the use of this appliance by a person responsible for their safety.

The air conditioner must be installed, maintained, repaired, and removed by a qualified installer or qualified service agent. As soon as any of these tasks need to be performed, call a qualified installer or service agent to do it for you.

Children should be supervised to ensure they do not play with the appliance.

Do not use any refrigerant other than the specified one (R32) for refilling or replacement. Otherwise, abnormal high pressure may be generated in the refrigeration circuit, potentially leading to product failure or explosion, or even personal injury.

Do not use methods other than those recommended by the manufacturer to accelerate defrosting or cleaning.

The unit must be stored in a room without continuous ignition sources (e.g., open flames, gas appliances in operation, or electric heaters in operation).

Refrigerants are odorless.

The unit is under pressure; do not pierce or burn it. Do not expose the unit to heat, flames, sparks, or other ignition sources. It could explode and cause injury or death.

CAUTION ⚠️

Do not clean the unit with water. This could cause electric shock.

Do not use the air conditioner for purposes other than preserving food, raising animals, etc.

Do not place your foot or any other object on the indoor/outdoor unit. You could injure yourself or damage the unit.

Do not touch the aluminum fins to avoid injury.

Before cleaning the unit, turn off the main switch or circuit breaker.

When not using the appliance for an extended period, disable the main switch or circuit breaker.

It is recommended to entrust maintenance to a specialized technician after the appliance has been used for a prolonged period.

The manufacturer cannot be held responsible for any damage caused by non-compliance with the instructions and descriptions in this manual.

Indoor Unit Display

Indicator Lights

Note

Display brightness can be adjusted (see section 16).

*Requires a wireless LAN connection adapter available as an accessory.

Preparation Before Use

Filter Preparation

Open the air intake grille and remove the air filters.

Attach the filters (refer to the accessory sheet for details).

Battery Installation (for wireless remote control)

Remove the battery compartment cover.

Insert two new batteries (AAA type), observing polarity (+ and -).

Setting the Clock

Press CLOCK with a pen tip. If the timer indicator blinks, proceed to step 2.

Press ▲ or ▼ to set the hour.

Press SET to program the timer.

Remote Control Reset

Remove the battery.

Press RESET with a pen tip.

Insert the battery.

Airflow Direction

Adjusting the Louver

Press FIX: To lock the airflow louver in the desired direction.

Press SWING: To set the airflow louver to automatic swing. Press again to stop.

For lateral adjustment, do it manually.

Note

Do not manually move the airflow louver.

The airflow louver may position itself automatically via an operation mode.

Remote Control

Remote Control Buttons

Note

The remote control is wireless but can be used wired. Refer to the installation manual for wired use instructions.

In wired mode, the remote control's initial state is restored (PRESET, TIMER, and CLOCK settings reset) when the air conditioner is turned off.

Operation Modes

5. Cooling / Heating / Fan Only

Press MODE to select Cooling, Heating, or Fan Only.

Press ▲ or ▼ to set the desired temperature (Min. 17°C, Max. 30°C). For Fan Only, no temperature is displayed.

Press FAN to select AUTO, LOW, LOW+, MED, MED+, HIGH, or QUIET.

6. Automatic Operation

This mode automatically selects Cooling, Heating, or Fan Only, and controls fan speed.

Press MODE to select Auto.

Press ▲ or ▼ to set the desired temperature (Min. 17°C, Max. 30°C).

Press FAN to select AUTO, LOW, LOW+, MED, MED+, HIGH, or QUIET.

7. Dehumidification Mode

For dehumidification, moderate cooling is automatically controlled.

Press MODE to select Dry.

Press ▲ or ▼ to set the desired temperature (Min. 17°C, Max. 30°C).

Note: Fan speed in DRY mode is set to Auto only.

8. Hi-Power Mode

Automatically controls room temperature and airflow for faster cooling and heating (except DRY and FAN ONLY modes).

Press HI POWER to start and stop operation.

9. ECO Mode

Automatically controls room temperature to save energy (except DRY and FAN ONLY modes).

Press ECO to start and stop operation.

Note: In cooling mode, the set temperature will automatically increase by 1 degree/hour for 2 hours (max 2 degrees increase). In heating mode, the set temperature will decrease.

10. Chimney and 8°C Heating Mode

Chimney Mode

Allows the indoor unit fan to run continuously during thermal shutdown to circulate heat from other room sources. Three settings: Default > Chimney 1 > Chimney 2.

Chimney 1: Indoor unit fan continues to run at the user-selected speed during thermal shutdown.

Chimney 2: Indoor unit fan continues to run at a very slow speed programmed at the factory during thermal shutdown.

8°C Heating Mode

Heating mode to maintain room temperature (5-13°C) while consuming less energy.

Notes

In heating mode, the indoor unit fan always runs, and cold air may be felt.

Chimney and 8°C modes only operate in Heating mode.

Comfort Sleep Function

To save energy during sleep, airflow is automatically controlled and the unit shuts off automatically (except in DRY mode).

Press ▲ or ▼ to select 1, 3, 5, or 9 hours for automatic shutdown after the chosen delay.

Cancel the comfort sleep function by pressing CLR.

Note

In cooling mode, the set temperature will automatically increase by 1 degree/hour for 2 hours (max 2 degrees increase). In heating mode, the set temperature will decrease.

HADA CARE FLOW Operation

Airflow directed upwards towards the ceiling, providing indirect airflow to the body and homogenizing room temperature.

Press AIRFLOW to start and stop HADA CARE FLOW.

Note

In HADA CARE FLOW mode, FIX and SWING buttons are inoperative.

Power Selection and Silence Mode (Outdoor Unit)

Power Selection (P-SEL)

This function is used when the circuit breaker is shared with other electrical appliances. It limits maximum energy consumption to 100%, 75%, or 50% by selecting power. A lower power rate saves energy and extends compressor life.

Note

Once the level is selected, the POWER SEL indicator blinks on the remote control's LCD for 3 seconds.

Since power selection limits the maximum current, cooling or heating performance may be reduced.

Silence Mode

Operates the outdoor unit quietly to avoid disturbing sleep or neighbors at night. Optimizes heating capacity for a silent experience. Two Silence modes: Silence 1 and Silence 2. Three settings: Standard Level > Silence 1 > Silence 2.

Silence 1: Quiet operation, with heating (or cooling) capacity prioritized for sufficient room comfort. A perfect balance between heating/cooling capacity and outdoor unit noise level.

Silence 2: Compromise between heating/cooling capacity and noise level, prioritizing outdoor unit noise reduction. Reduces maximum outdoor unit noise level by 4 dB(A).

Note

When Silence mode is activated, heating (or cooling) capacity may be inadequate.

Timer Operation

Set the timer when the air conditioner is operating.

Setting Timer ON

Press ON: Set desired timer ON time.

Press SET: Program the timer.

Press CLR: To cancel programming.

Setting Timer OFF

Press OFF: Set desired timer OFF time.

Press SET: Program the timer.

Press CLR: To cancel programming.

Notes

Keep the remote control within transmission range of the indoor unit, otherwise a 15-minute delay may occur.

The setting is memorized for the next operation.

Preset Mode

Set your preferred mode for later use. The setting is memorized by the unit for the next operation (except airflow direction).

Select your preferred mode.

Press and hold PRESET for 3 seconds to memorize the setting. The preset symbol appears.

Press PRESET: The preset operation mode is activated.

Lamp Brightness Adjustment

To dim or turn off the display lamp.

Press and hold FAN for 3 seconds until the brightness level (d0, d1, d2, or d3) appears on the remote control's LCD, then release the button.

Press ▲ or ▼ TEMP to adjust brightness in 4 levels.

Notes

In cases d1 and d0, the lamp lights up for 5 seconds before turning off.

Automatic Restart Operation

This function automatically restarts the air conditioner after a power failure (if the unit is powered).

Setting:

Press and hold RESET on the indoor unit for 3 seconds to set the mode (3 beeps are heard, and the OPERATION indicator blinks 5 times/second for 5 seconds).

Press and hold RESET on the indoor unit for 3 seconds to cancel the mode (3 beeps are heard, but the OPERATION indicator does not blink).

Note

If the timer is set to ON or OFF, the AUTOMATIC RESTART FUNCTION is not activated.

Automatic Cleaning Operation (Cooling and Dehumidification Modes Only)

This mode prevents musty odors caused by moisture in the indoor unit.

If you press the CLR button once in "Cooling" or "Dehumidification" mode, the fan continues to run for an additional 30 minutes, then stops automatically. This reduces accumulated moisture in the indoor unit.

To stop the unit immediately, press the CLR button more than twice within 30 seconds.

Temporary Operation

Use this mode when the remote control batteries are dead or the remote control is misplaced.

Pressing the RESET button starts and stops the unit without using the remote control.

The operation mode is set to AUTOMATIC, the preset temperature is 24°C, and the fan mode is set to automatic speed.

Remote Control A-B Selection

To distinguish remote control usage for each indoor unit when 2 air conditioners are installed nearby.

Setting Remote Control B:

Turn on the air conditioner by pressing the RESET button on the indoor unit.

Point the remote control towards the indoor unit.

Hold down the CHECK button on the remote control with a pen tip. "00" appears on the display.

Press the MODE button without releasing the CHECK button. "B" appears on the display. "00" disappears, and the air conditioner stops. Remote control B is memorized.

Notes

Repeat the above steps to reset the remote control to A.

Remote control A does not display "A".

The factory default setting for the remote control is A.

Troubleshooting

Unit Does Not Operate

Cooling or Heating is Abnormally Slow

Weekly Timer Operation

Setting Weekly Timer Mode:

Press DAY/EDIT to set the WEEKLY TIMER.

Press DAY/EDIT to select the desired day sequence. The day sequence symbol appears on the LCD.

Press PROGRAM to select the program number. Program 1 is ready for setting; when you press DAY/EDIT, PG-1 appears on the LCD. Press PROGRAM to change the program number and choose a number between 1 and 4.

Press ▲ or ▼ to select the hour. You can set the hour between 0:00 and 23:50 in 10-minute intervals. Hold the button to set by the hour. Only Timer ON/Timer OFF mode can be set for each program.

Press MODE to select the desired mode.

Press ▲ or ▼ TEMP to select the desired temperature. The temperature range is 17°C to 30°C.

Press FAN to select the fan speed.

Perform additional operations:

Add or modify the program: You can set the program for all required days until you press SET to confirm the setting in the next step.

If you need to add or modify a program, repeat steps 2 to 8 before confirming the setting.

Once setting is complete, press SET to confirm. Direct the remote control towards the air conditioner's reception module, then press SET until a "Beep-beep" sound is emitted, indicating the setting is complete. When the air conditioner receives the signal, it emits one or more beeps depending on the number of days set. If the timer indicator blinks, the setting is incomplete; press the SET button twice.

Notes

Position the remote control so the indoor unit can receive the signal correctly for better synchronization between the remote control and the air conditioner.

The timer can be activated or deactivated in WEEKLY TIMER mode; in this case, the air conditioner first operates in timer mode, then switches to WEEKLY TIMER mode.

In WEEKLY TIMER mode, other modes like MODE, TEMP, FAN, MAX POWER, ECO, etc., can be set. However, at the end of the set program, the previously selected mode is restored.

When sending the remote control signal, avoid interference that could hinder transmission to the air conditioner.

Modifying a Weekly Timer Program

To modify the program after setting the weekly timer, follow steps 1 to 3.

Press DAY/EDIT. The day of the week and program number for the current day are displayed.

Press DAY/EDIT to select the day of the week and PROGRAM to select the program number to confirm.

Press SET to exit confirmation mode.

Deactivating WEEKLY TIMER Mode

Press CLR when "WEEKLY" is displayed on the LCD.

The "WEEKLY" indication disappears from the LCD, but the program remains displayed on the remote control.

The TIMER indicator turns off.

To resume WEEKLY TIMER mode, press the button again. The next program will appear on the LCD. The program following reactivation depends on the set time.

Functions and Performances

Three-minute protection function: Prevents the unit from operating for about 3 minutes if it is restarted immediately after being turned off.

Preheating operation: Allows the unit to heat for 5 minutes before blowing warm air.

Warm air control: When the ambient temperature reaches the set temperature, the fan speed automatically reduces, and the outdoor unit stops.

Automatic defrosting: Fans stop during defrosting.

Heating capacity: Heat is absorbed from outside and released into the room. When the outside temperature is insufficient, it is recommended to use another heating appliance in conjunction with the air conditioner.

Tips to prevent snow accumulation: Choose an outdoor unit location not exposed to snow, leaves, or other seasonal debris.

Slight cracking sounds: Some slight cracking sounds may be heard during operation. This is normal and caused by the expansion/contraction of plastic.

Note

Points 2 to 6 apply to reversible models.

Maintenance

Start by turning off the circuit breaker.

Indoor Unit and Remote Control:

Clean the indoor unit and remote control with a damp cloth when necessary.

Do not use benzene, turpentine, polishing powder, or chemically treated cloths.

Air Filters:

Clean every 2 weeks.

  1. Open the air intake grille.
  2. Remove the air filters.
  3. Vacuum them or wash them, then let them dry.
  4. Reinstall the air filters and close the air intake grille.

Program Suppression

Individual Program

  1. Press DAY/EDIT. The day of the week and program number are displayed.
  2. Select the day to delete the program.
  3. Press PROGRAM to select the program number to delete.
  4. Press CLR. Timer ON or Timer OFF mode disappears, and the LCD blinks.
  5. Press SET to delete the program. Press SET when the LCD blinks to delete the program.

All Programs

  1. Press DAY/EDIT. The day of the week and program number are displayed.
  2. Hold down the CLR button for 3 seconds. All programs are deleted, and the current mode is displayed on the LCD.

Notes

Ensure the air conditioner's reception module receives the signal sent by the remote control.
