Note: The "Emergency Power Supply Port" is not for battery charging purpose and can only be used for emergency power supply to the lock.
(2) How To Open / Close Lock Cylinder Cover
Press and hold the Lock Cylinder Cover and turn it clockwise/counterclockwise to open it.

5. Installation Overview
Steps:
- Install Deadbolt: Check and adjust deadbolt if necessary. Ensure the "UP" direction faces up when inserting into the doorframe.
- Install Strike Plate: Attach the strike plate and box to the doorframe with screws.
- Install Exterior Assembly: Attach rubber gasket. Measure cross bore dimension and determine adapter use. Route cable under the latch, ensuring the tailpiece is horizontal. Fix exterior assembly with double-sided tape.
- Install Interior Assembly: Detach the back cover. Run wires through the back cover. Secure the back cover with appropriate screws (A, B, or C based on door thickness). Tightly fasten screws. Wire to the interior assembly.
- Mount Interior Assembly: Ensure wires are tucked into the cabin. Rotate thumbturn to the unlocked position before installing.
- Test Deadbolt: Check if the deadbolt retracts by turning the thumbturn.
- Charge Battery: Fully charge the battery before first use (approx. 6 hours). Install the charged battery.
Screw Selection Guide:
- 50-55mm door thickness: Use Screw A
- 40-50mm door thickness: Use Screw B
- 35-40mm door thickness: Use Screw C
6. Programming Instructions
(1). User Type

(2). Enter the Door Lock Setting Menu
Wake up keypad -> Verify administrator -> System Setting -> Select desired option (Auto-Lock Mode, Volume Setting, Language Setting, System Initialization) -> Quit.
(3). How to Program User Access Code
Note: The default Administrator code is 123456. Change it before programming. The default code becomes invalid after adding the first administrator password or fingerprint.
Wake up keypad -> Verify administrator -> User Management -> Administrator Use (Add) or Regular User (Add) -> Add fingerprint or passcode -> Confirm. Alternatively, use Delete Users function.
(4). Restore Factory Settings
- Long press the "Set" button until two beeps and the No. 5 button flashes.
- The lock will broadcast successful operation.
(5). Set Administrator Password
- Wake up keyboard, press "#", enter "123456", press "#" to enter the system.
- In the system menu, press "1" to select user, then press "1" to enter the new administrator password.
(6). Others
- Authentication Attempts: 5 consecutive attempts allowed for fingerprint, password, and IC card. Exceeding this limit locks the system for one minute.
- Low Power: After the ultra-low power alarm, the motor may not work. Replace the battery. If battery power is lower than 10%, it will report low battery.

7. App Operation Guidance
(1). Connect The Lock To Internet
- Follow the installation instructions to install the smart lock.
- Download the Smart Life App.
- Register and log in to the Smart Life App.
- Calibrate the smart lock and complete Wi-Fi settings in the App.

(2). Steps to Access System Networking
Wake up keypad -> Verify administrator -> Network Settings -> Reset Wi-Fi (Add new Wi-Fi) -> "O" indicator flashes, entering Wi-Fi Pairing Mode -> Return. The "O" key blinks when distribution network is activated (Networking effective time: 120S).
(3). Settings
Enter the setting page -> Open the dormant switch. Note: In sleep mode, the device cannot be woken up from the App and can only be triggered from the device, which can greatly reduce power consumption.
(4). Real-time monitoring and Doorbell Calling
Enter the app -> Enter the real-time monitoring preview interface -> Click to talk.
(5). Password Settings
Add temporary password/record -> Set password type (dynamic, valid for 5 minutes) -> Get password.
(6). Device Unbinding
Navigate through Device Information -> Check Device Network -> Settings -> Device Settings -> Offline Notification -> General Settings -> Help Center -> Remove Device -> Remove and Clear Data -> Cancel.
8. Troubleshooting
Questions
- Can't connect to Wi-Fi
- The device is stay offline and cannot reconnect to the network
Answers
- Cannot connect to Wi-Fi:
- The device only supports 2.4 GHz network.
- Ensure the lock is in pairing mode.
- Ensure your phone is connected to a 2.4G Wi-Fi network.
- Ensure your phone's Bluetooth is turned on.
- Select the same 2.4G network Wi-Fi on your phone for the device.
- To test Wi-Fi network requirements, prepare a phone hotspot as a Wi-Fi signal and connect the lock to it. Check router settings for Wi-Fi frequency band and signal stability.
- Device is offline:
- Check if the lock has entered dormant mode. The APP will be offline when the device is sleeping (refer to page 31).
- When battery power is lower than 10%, the lock enters low-power mode and disconnects from the network to ensure basic functions. Doorbell network connection is not affected by low battery.
